If your phone does not have an actual home button and your home button is part of the touch screen you want to hold the volume down button and the power button in at the same time until the options menu pops up, then you use the volume up/down buttons to move to the factory reset option and press the power button to select. Hopefully this helps.

I might be looking at data or preparing to take a photo, I'm distracted for maybe 20 seconds and I then have to enter the password again! I'm all for the phone going to lock mode if the phone is in my pocket for while, but not while I'm actually using it!

I have a mobicel I forgot the pattern I formatted my phone and got to default Home Screen but after few steps it says this phone has been rest to factory settings please put in previous pattern to continue I can’t even use the alternative for email because I don’t know it this phone was from 2018
