An animal that would have been awesome to be planned for the game would have been a Gorilla, particularly the larger eastern species (Gorilla beringei). If you ask me, I still think it should replace the Mandrill as the large forest-dwelling primate. As it's far more unique in terms of looks, niche & gameplay from the other primates like the Baboon & Vervet Monkey than the Mandrill is. Not to mention, Apes are awesome.
