True, the Sinnoh League was practically his after he beat Paul, but they decided to ruin his dreams with Tobias. Every other time, especially Unova, was terrible. He knew that his unevolved Pokemon were no chance by themselves, and he knew that he did well using all the Pokemon he ever caught, not just a specific region (as seen with the Battle Frontier and the Sinnoh League). And then he goes and loses to a guy who forgot 1 Pokemon.

BoboBlastB00m I remember back when I was a kid playing the original Red version. I had a Dragonair and was really confused why it didn't evolve yet. I had it raised to level 54 and it still didn't evolve so I assumed it was a trade only evolve like Graveler or Machoke, so I traded with my brother expecting to see it evolve and then have him trade it back to me. He kept it and raised it that one last level so it evolved. I never got it back.

CreeperfaceRE You'd think anyway. But we all know how bad Ash is about actually evolving his pokemon, so it just became another Bulbasaur. Which is why he'll never truly be 'the best that ever was', or ever actually beat the league of any of the regions. I wonder if the pokemon staff are afraid of turning Ash 'cool', cause it seems whenever there is an opportunity, they decide not to. They usually seem to favor the same stuff we've been seeing since day one of the whole series thinking we won't get sick of it so long as it's presented slightly different. Most people say pokemon is getting ruined. I don't like a lot of additions in Kalos and unova, but there are just moments in X and Y that make it seem like a different anime y'know? Like all of these amourshipping moments, and different parts that make it seem like they don't battle with their pokemon or anything. Like they're those people who keep them as pets. I don't know. Maybe it's just me who thinks this. But I still enjoy watching the show, just not for alot of the newer pokemon and things like that.

Haunter wasn't in his party, he had to get a ghost type pokemon to fight against Psychic pokemon, It never shown that Ash had ever caught hunter, haunter just agreed to help Ash. I have every main pokemon game (This means not the random ones like Pokemon Ranger or Mystery dungeon) and have completed all of them multiple times. My favourite pokemon come from gen 1 and 2, (Some from gen 6 also) the only pokedex I have completed are from Yellow and Y, and I am always looking forward to see what new pokemon designs are coming in future games. In my opinion,Ash top 6 pokemons are: 1- Pikachu = His main pokemon and one of the few non-legendary pokemon to beat a legendary one 2- Charizard= Everybody knows why 3-Sceptile=His main pokemon in Hoenn and beat Tobias Darkrai 4-Heracross= It was a physically strong pokemon and one of his strongest pokemon in Johto 5-Infernape=Because it is a strong pokemon and when blaze is activated, it becomes op 6-Pignite= i know, many ppl dont know why i chose Pignite, but its because it won vs Shamus in a 1vs2,won against Camerons Hydreigon and it was stronger than a Golurk
