I think the first image was an African Grass Owl and the second image was the Barn.

You got the scientific names of many species incorrect, the Tyto genus contains only three species: the Western Barn Owl (Tyto alba), the Eastern Barn Owl (Tyto javanica), and the American Barn Owl (Tyto furcata), while the other fourteen extant species are all relocated to four separate genera, Fulginostrix for the sooty owls, Larvops for the masked owls, Argentocephalus for the ashy-faced owl, and Poestrix for the grass owls.
