This movie came up randomly on my feed and i decided to watch it without a clue as to its content. It is definitely NOT a typical war movie. Its mostly the Russian tank driver, who appears to have the ability to "talk" to tanks after surviving what should have been fatal injuries, squaring off with the impossible to kill Tiger, that appears to have supernatural abilities. You never see its crew; it is as if the tank itself is alive. It isint meant to be realistic per se; its far more metaphysical....i think thats the word i want. Worth checking out.

It is good and worth watching - although it is not a traditional history type war film - it conveys the madness and apathy and brutality of being caught up in a never ending battle of armor on the eastern front around 1942 - 43.

You seen how accurate the other tanks have been depicted, why would they fail on the main start, besides that tank is a prototype version of tiger 1 VK 4501, maybe there was reason why they choose to use this version.

Good movie. At first, I didn't know what to expect. But this story of a "ghost" tank really pleased me. It is like the Devil, or the spirit of war, would have materialized in a feared war machine, the Tiger. The "White Tiger" is pretty inaccurate but maybe it is in purpose? And I really enjoyed all the tanks, JSU-152, SU-85, T-34/85, even some British tanks etc... Russians know how to make movies for tanks lovers ^^

I didn't like it the first time I watched it. The second time was much more enjoyable. Some aspects are very well done. But like you say, others are less accurate than they could be. Because the White Tiger is kinda supernatural along with the general message of the film, the inaccuracies with the tank could be written off with something like: "It's the idealized version of war and death. The Tiger could just be in their heads and it's very likely that none of them have actually inspected/seen a Tiger up close before. So their minds made an approximation after all the stories they've heard and that's what we're seeing."

There's something wrong with the Tiger, the turret looks somewhat wider than normal. I can still accept the smoke system but when viewed from the side it reminded me more of a Leopard 2A4. The Tiger had a slanted hull, sloping towards the back, and the turret isn't quite in the right place either.

Its not a lie. Its not a historic documentary though based on the German-Sovjet War 1943 -45. Truth is that the Tiger was very effective based on sophisticated tschnology. Could destroy moving tanks more than a kilometer away. That one reason the Red Army had huge casualtie and material losses even the last months of the war.

So much money spend for this film and the Tiger I looks like it was made by a fourth grader. German Panzers had theire turret not so close to the front, the wheels are overlapping and it had no side skirts for the wheels, in fact the "Ost-ketten" reached out of the sides, that made it impossible to have Trackskirts...but one thing i must the russian Filmmaker give credit and they show how superior the Tiger I was, not like this Dummy movie "Fury" with Brad Pitt. Even the movie-name of Brad Pitt was hilarious and blatantly stupid..War-Daddy what a US crap, War-Idiot would describe that A$$hole better...The thing with the burned Driver in the russian movie is nuts but the movie itself is far more accurate then Pitt's terrible, stupid propaganda movie...
