Everyone talks about how the Aura of the All Blacks is gone. The aura is still very much there. Every team around the world lifts when they play the All Blacks, while they aren't #1 in the world, they are still the pinnacle of professional rugby. When the All Blacks do get beaten, EVERYONE makes a big deal of it. South Africa, France, Ireland, even the draw against England. The AB's are still feared and have that aura, because they can take the game away from any team in 15-20 minutes. The fans in other coutries are aware of this, but they choose to ignore it because they know counting out the AB's is a mistake. Bring on the QF.

I think they look nervous to be honest. New Zealand has never known what what it feels like to give everything and still be second best. They went into the France game and threw the kitchen sink at it. France beat handy though and in the second half showed real dominance. I think that's weighing on the players mind because they think there's a chance Ireland could do the same to them. All conjecture though. We'll see how it unfolds.

@harshbutfair8993 I meant I encourage the All Blacks to win, isnt it what you English speaking people say when you want a team to win? Im French and would say Allez les All Blacks in French, so we can meet them in the final, provided we get past the Boks, which are a darn good team. Foster is going in less than 3 weeks. The back row will get fresh blood with Cane out of the mix and hopefully the Kiwi teams will learn to be ferocious at the breakdown, because thats their main weakness

@tiomiguel999 OK, I was being a grammar nitpicking d1ck. My Mum passed away quite a few years ago fwiw, so it would be kinda difficult to ask her. @tabou1 Again as above apologies for being an arse. Anyway you are of course entitled to support who you like of course, but do find it a bit odd you'd support NZ over Ireland. I'd definitely support France over NZ and SA though, not because I have anything against them, but because you haven't won it before, and I recognise the effort you have put in to being a formidable team, you're a neighbour and the 6 Nations teams only have one winner in the previous 9 WCs and it'd be a heck of a party if ye won. Anyway hopefully we are in for some cracking games this W/E.
@tabou1 Жыл бұрын
@@harshbutfair8993 is all good brother. I 100% admit Ireland has developed into a fearsome and ruthlessly efficient team (and their provinces arent too shabby either) but there is something about their style that I dont enjoy as much as NZ rugby. Rugby has become a game where you MUST rule at the breakdown, pressure through rush defense and minimize risk overall. I miss the game as it was until 2015, or before the game turned pro. My favorite teams are therefore Stade Toulousain and All Blacks because there is still a wee bit of romanticism in their style. I would support France over NZ of course. France has become a bit like the Springboks, lots of kicking, huge pressure, tighter defense and less errors or penalties. We got owned by the Irish at the 6 Nations and if the Irish win their 1/4, I sure hope we beat SA just so we can get them at the final. I am very worried by the Boks in the 1/4. They lost by 4 in Marseilles last November (I was there!) only because they had a red card early in the game (Dupont's red card was at the 48th so there was at least 30 minutes of 15 vs 14) and it was the end of their season so I would not put too much into that. Same with their loss to Ireland a coupla weeks ago: 11 points lost at kicks to goal, wtf??? If we win, we walk all over England and face Ireland or NZ. What a tournament, I love the RWC. Not sure we can clinch it in 2023, but I know one thing: France to win in Australia in 2027
