I was lucky enough to get a new copy of this game on the Nintendo switch at gamestop for $30 U.S. dollars. A steal. The graphics, combat, and gameplay are amazing, the soundtrack is amazing as well

The Golden Brawler was an absolute pain for me. Those annoying badgers kept healing it... So I continuously slammed the badgers into the bear to interrupt their magic while giving damage to the bear at the same time, though it definitely took a while haha.

Hey - you can't leave it normally and will have to load up an older save. The game mentioned that you should make a save before the festival so chances are that you have done that. The save file should say something about being in chapter 7 and not 8 (which is the festival and final boss fight). Hope this helps!

@@TheNemkris You need to use that new raiment skill to block the meteor damage, see 39:30. On the PS4 the controls are r1 + circle, but the game says what the controls are when you start the fight (37:38)

I really can't wrap my head around that last-minute rainment skill -_- I can sometimes put up a barrier but then I can't use that blast ability: I get totally wrecked with that damned second dragon head. What's the logic behind that barrier skill? Thank you in advance to those who have an explanation!

@@jiynsa From what I understand the blast only happens when you block enough damage. His 'ultimate' attacks will always deal enough damage and result in the blast. In the first phase you use the skill to block the big flame blast. In the second phase you use it to block the meteor that crashes down and in the 3rd phase you don't really need it. In this phase I was only able to trigger it once after absorbing a lot of small magic attacks that he sends. Aside from the Ultimate attacks, you can dodge everything else with patience and practice. Hope this helps!

Heya - he was one of the harder bosses to beat early on, if you're struggling having another harvest is definitely a good plan. Also remember that during your raiment dodge you can't be hit by attacks, so use that as much as you can!

Does anyone know about how to get the elemental materials and abilities for weapons? I know that kinta tells you that you can get them at night but I have none single luck and theres not a single helping guide for this game like at all.

They're rare drops, even at night. The bigger/stronger enemies tend to drop them sooner than let's say the rabbits. You can get Moonlight Stones from the starting area, Branching Flowers from the forest area, Aqueous Droplets from the water area, Flaming Cores from the volcano area and Metallic Sand from the demon fortress area. You need to find "bounty" items around the world and mix those in the fertilizer. That way your rice field will heal and your debuffs will be removed. You can see which zones have a bounty item because they either have a green or purple glow

The blue glowing spot on your map provide -1 debuff whilr the dark glowing ( defeat boss ) remove 3 point of debuff

I am wondering about all the Powders and Flakes.... Should I just make the Food from them or put it in the Fertilizer? Maybe Food is better even though u get less stats compared to mixing in the fertilizer. Love those medicinal bases in the fertilizer! /shrug

Hmm depends really. If you use it in fertilizer it'll permanently make you stronger, but if you need a quick big boost in damage (for floor 100 of the Amagaeshi shrine for instance) you can use it for that too.

Hey! I think you mean Crash, instead of Crush, right? Well Crash is when you make enemies bump into each other for damage. You can use skills like Frontal Smash, Wild Top & the Raiment Skill Crescent Toss for this. Slash, Strike & Pierce relate to damage types and which one you inflict depends on which weapon you use. So if you go to your equipment and look at your weapon, you should see what kind of damage type it has at the top (next to the Attack power). Hope this helps! Hey - not much more you can do other than increasing your strength. You can do this by leveling (doing another harvest), obtaining +strength food buffs and creating stronger weapons.

@@Swrinny Turns out I was using the jade mallet (or whatever it's called) which had the magic attribute and that's what made each attack do 1 dmg - just in case anyone had the same problem as me.

Hey - no other difficulty mode and no NG+. At the end of the game there's a 100-floor shrine but that one actually continues after floor 100. Don't know what the end is yet but it definitely goes to 300 increasing in difficulty each time. The item drops there are better versions of armor and weapons you can craft, but other than this - that's it.

Okay I am at Omizuchi and I do maybe 100 damage using the rainbow scarf thing and basically nothing when I hit it. I am level 24. Am I underleveled? if so I think I am done with the game, I don't want to come back to this point after grinding for another year or 2.

Thx! Moonlit stone can be found as a monster drop during nighttime in the early stages (before the forest stages, as the forest stage itself has a different nighttime item drop).

Just looked at my old footage and I was 24. If you're doing 0 damage, make sure to check if you're not using magic weapons (like the Jade weapons). Another viewer commented having this issue.

You have to parry his attack first so he turns purple and then you can use your raiment skills on him

Just looked through my old footage and I beat him at lvl 34. It took me a good amount of tries because I found the new special raiment skill to be tricky. If you have too much trouble you can load up the save you made before the festival and do 1-2 more harvests to be stronger. Also, if you have the equipment you can add fire resistance for the first phase and water resistance for the 3rd phase to take less damage. Hope this helps!

@@chai_wolf Good luck! Just remember that the first and second phases each have 1 attack that cannot be avoided and you need to use the raiment ability for that. Everything else is avoidable, but takes a bit of practice to get used to.

There can still be some side-quests in case you hadn't done those before. Not sure when they all trigger though, seems to be somewhat related to how often you send the humans out to gather. But there's no other main quest after this.

You get to make a "clear save file" and once you load that you get an item and you are back to right before the final event. So you can use that save to do anything you haven't done yet, like fully explore all areas, beat the 100-floors dungeon and raise your farm level further.

@ Omizuchi should give you a Dragon Scale actually - Yui can make you some new clothes from this. The Dragon Bone is a reward for Amagaeshi Shrine 100 & that Apids mini game in the capital. You can use it to make a stronger version of the weapon you use to fight Omizuchi, but it won't show in the list until you have more special materials. You can get the other materials by clearing stages after 101 in the Amagaeshi shrine

Jeus christ. After taking a small peek at it, it seems like i am only at around 25% of the playthrough. And i am already nearing at the 15hour mark. The exploration exp rate is going to slow for my taste.

Up until the boss at 15:04 they're very spread out and you don't encounter bosses frequently. Everything after that comes very quickly, especially the Specter bosses.

The player character moves very fast, but the enemies and bosses move too slowly for my liking. I’m guessing the combat challenge comes from making sure you do the farming tasks, so that you’re doing more than scratch damage against enemies.

With the divine raiment you can easily dodge with i-frames and it's pretty spammable. I'm a bit underleveled in most of these fights which is why you see me lose a big chunk of damage whenever I get hit. I think the hardest thing about the combat is that you can get swarmed by different enemy types (melee, rushing melee, ranged & flying) and if you're focusing on certain enemies you need to be ready at all times to dodge whatever is incoming. Have to agree with the slow speed, for the bosses at least. Funny thing is that the "Specter" bosses you see later in the video are like turbo-versions of the early bosses :D

@@Swrinny Yeah, I'm comparing this game's combat compared to the frantic speed of Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Most of the bosses are large, but they attack you more quickly. This game does have Muramasa in beat in terms of level design though. They kept rehashing the same backgrounds in that game.

On the PS4 PRO it can. There are some slight FPS drops when performing a big AOE attack on a large group of enemies, but it could also be the repeated hit pause effect making it look like an FPS drop. Not sure how well the game runs on the Switch though
