Red Rider.... one of the first bike you saw upstairs, the bike with the bullet faring ( time stamp 6:08 ) is a Moto Guzzi v7 Racer. So when you were looking at the Moto Guzzi California saying, "I've never seen a Moto Guzzi before." I was saying to myself, "Umm yeah you have, you just did 2 minutes ago."

Excellent job as always Angel. Yes, the Yamaha Bolt was fuel injected. A good way to tell would be check for a gas valve or pet clock ( spelled wrong on purpose to not get deleted ). A fuel injected bike will not have a gas valve. Also if you see wires and a weatherproof or Duetch or AMP style connector, going to the throttle body, in place of a carb, it's definitely fuel injection. Moto GOOT-ZEE, not Goo-zee, are a AWESOME motorcycle, especially the older air cooled ones. You'd love a old 850 Eldorado, like a old Harley dresser but with the cylinders sideways. Big flywheels, slow revs, pushrod V-twin, lots of torque. Very reliable and You'd love the sound. The company with the help of a outside Engineer, even developed a type of rear suspension that all but eliminated the torque reaction caused by the drive shaft. If I remember right it was called, Para-lever. If you don't know in the early days, drive shaft final drive motorcycles would lift the rear suspension under acceleration and the rear would drop down under, deceleration. Quite unnerving if you're not prepared. I have machined several Yamaha V-Max bikes years ago to eliminate the drive shaft, and convert to a final, chain drive. Extensive machining and yes, cost. The V-Max is a highly developed V4 with approximately 180 horsepower, give or take depending on the year. It's not for the faint of heart. Blessings 🙏
@RedRiderCanadaBC
@RedRiderCanadaBC Жыл бұрын
Cool thanks, I didn’t think to check for a peacock! I guess I’m just not used to fuel injection haha. I haven’t ridden a shaft drive bike before either, I’m not sure what exactly the advantage is with them 🤔 Able to handle more torque maybe in the case of something like that Triumph Rocket? I Like the look of a chain drive either way.

@@RedRiderCanadaBC chain drive - old school cool, belt drive - smoother and less maintenance, shaft drive - instant torque and able to have reverse gear on your bike.

We don't have a dealership near me that has a second floor. Plus it's wild that they are a used bike dealership! That R1800 was made to compete with the Bobber market. It has a ton of torque. I know lots of folks love the shaft drive motorcycles but I'm just not one of them. I love chain and belt drive motorcycles with chain being my all time favorite. Hi 👋 Ms. Red Rider, Since Ducati’s hometown is my one too, I should not telling it, but I think Scramblers are a “little bit” overpriced, considering their contents, components, materials and ergonomics. I must admit they’re pretty bikes.anyway. I have got an old monster who is like a son, meaning that you love it unconditionally (unfortunately). People here has this kind of feeling for the red bikes local constructor. Only bmw seems winning on feelings. When I ride around passes 7 bike on 10 are gs 1200 or 1250. Anyway, super large bike store, if I had a lot of money I would surely buy some of those. I’d better keep my feet well planned on the ground and be grateful for having the privilege to ride a bike into beautiful places. Have a nice week
@RedRiderCanadaBC

This is exactly why I refuse to buy used motorcycles from dealerships. They do nothing to add value to substantiate the exhorbatant markup and profit they add to the motorcycle's price. Doesn't matter if it's Harley Davidson dealerships or PowerSports dealerships. That big showroom floor jacks up the overhead and flooring costs for lots of used motorcycles just sitting there, while finance charges are building for flooring costs. Free money days and low interest rates are gone. I can't and I won't support their greed with so much additional fees and markups and dealer market value adjustment pricing scams. There's a reason they call them stealerships.

I prefer to buy privately as well. But sometimes I like to just wander around and look at things I can’t afford when I’m bored haha

Not a fan of the BMW. Where would a person kick his feet on the hiway. Looks like crammy sitting. Harley did a way better job building a adventure bike than BMW's efforts on a touring/cruiser
