@Rick-si1re4 жыл бұрын
@Baxter James Oh and one more thing buddy, maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed much? Because honestly closing Grippers has absolutely nothing to do with being "big" or "huge" as you put it. It's hand strength or more specifically tendon/ligament strength in the forearm, why do you think an average sized arm wrestler can beat a big bodybuilder that can lift tons of weight, or even a Powerlifter with World Class numbers, that's because it's a different type of strength. I mean but that's a feat, closing a 2.5 CoC gripper, I'd have to work at that for sure so you definitely deserve some credit as you have above average hand strength, good for you!. It's all good, I know I'm big where it actually COUNTS, nah not that.....I'm talking about THE MIND and the HEART!, including knowing how not to disrespect someone that I don't even know on a public forum....think about it buddy, matter of fact I'll do you one even better, think about it while you're closing your little 2.5 CoC gripper for one rep, how about that :)

@@shel0016 Thanks for your support, I rarely get support from others but yeah I had to block one of those "keyboard warriors" on FB yesterday. When I first started my grip training I was able to close the trainer right out of the packaging then after a few months of conditioning my hands I ordered the number-one gripper and closed it right out of the packaging. I believe it even says on the web page that most guys who visit the gym and lift weights cannot even close the number one straight out of the packaging and also it even says it is very rare that they ever see someone close the number to gripper on their very first attempt. I even brought them to work one day and I even had a couple of co-workers laugh and try to make themselves sound so very strong and I handed my trainer gripper to one of my co-workers who looked like they had some serious hand strength and he could not even close the gripper three consecutive times in a row yet I pull out my number one gripper and knocked out 10 full range closes and the look on his face was a pure surprise. Hello, I wanna buy some CoC but I have never tried to close anything. What would you recommend me? I dont want to buy all the 11 CoC, just want to have the useful ones. What is a good option? 1,2,3,4 or like you did 1, 1.5, 2 up to 4? Thanks.
@oktaviu86684 жыл бұрын
If you are used to pull exercises like pullups, barbell rows etc. You should indeed get the 1, 2 and 3. If not, and you know your grip is not that great, you should go maybe for 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5. Or Trainer, 1.5 and 2.5. CoC 1 is not that easy to close by many men out there. I hope this helps you
@MrCmon1133 жыл бұрын
I don't know why everyone is obsessed with those grippers. Get adjustable ones that are approximately in your range. Saves money, stays challenging, allows you to practice weaker grips like the pinch. I don't see why you should buy fixed grippers unless you do it for sports rather than exercise.

I like this video but see it's 2 years since you released it. Do you still work with grippers and if so, have you progressed since the video? You tell that you didn't close the nr1 first time, and it was the same with me. I barely closed the trainer. But a few months later I closed nr1. My next goal is nr1,5. You are an example that it's really possible to improve the grip strength. I have all CoC except from nr3,5. Even if I will probably never be able to close nr3 it's fun to have nr3 and 4!

I am not training with grippers anymore. I got to a point where I almost closed 3.5, at about 5mm from touching. I am doing strength training with barbell and my grip is maintained strong, I can still close CoC3 any day. Maybe some day I'll train again with grippers, but for now I don't train them.
