All Carnivore Park (Sort Of) | Jurassic Difficulty Northwest USA Challenge Map | Jurassic World 2

The Northwest USA challenge map here in Jurassic World Evolution 2 has a number of restrictions we will have to overcome. They want this to be an all carnivore park, but we can't research the carnivore feeders until we hit 2.5 star rating so that means we're going to be starting the park on the garbage herbivores they are letting us build. After that we need to start expanding and I get the bright idea to set up some carnivores to cohabitate, and well, it's not pretty. Also, one of the challenge criteria is that we can only build 5 shelters, that probably won't ever hurt us, will it? Also I like the daytime visibility due to making to easier to see the smaller dinosaurs but let’s be honest night always looks beautiful

Loving the series I’m looking forward to the next map. I love seeing how different we problem solve, for this map I used the struthiomimus as food till I got to 2.5 stars haha.

I wondered if that would be viable but I was worried about repeat escape attempts from my carnivores.

I had no trouble with the carnivores wanting to escape on my play through, but they really did love eating them a lot haha so I had to keep making sure they had enough to eat before they got hungry.

I did the same thing. Every new exhibit started with a batch of them then adding the predators.

This is the way, they count towards the carnivore's prey requirement. Only downside is it's obviously more expensive and more manual than feeders

Oh and great work doing the park although I've just gotten into the video I think you're going to do great job at this weather it's Jurassic difficulty and all carnivores or not

I done it in 8hrs 22m U dont need to use the whole area tho. Cerato + allo Manju + qianzhou Carno + alberto Trex + compy Barox + summ All 4 bird except trapa and derma Atten + tylo + ple Str + draco + hama

first thing i did was to fire the one scientist i had costing 25k per minute and replace hime with 2 scientists with a combined cost of 15k per minute, it was a bit of an upfront cost buut cutting down the costs for the long run and having doubled the research skill available helped alot early game.. once i reached 3.5 stars (roughly 7 hours playtime) i was basicly in a position of having infinite money but huge problems of trying to fit all 20 species in there and enaugh ammeneties, that 2.250.000 income per minute goal is tricky to hit

What dinosaur are best for fighting in this map im trying to unlock the strong trait modification so I can get idominous rex

The drakorex is probably best because they will fight but have an extremely low chance of killing each other.

You didn’t have to use the struth until 2.5 stars. You can use them as food for the carnivors

I just used Struthiomimus until I researched the feeders

The only thing I'm going to say for the next map is that's going to be a nightmare for you and I feel absolutely devastated for you but I won't spoil what the map looks like I'm just going to warn you you may regret your life decisions after that

Can u 5 star this challenge without building a mono-rail ?

I'm not sure, transportation rating is pretty important. If you were to try I would move your park entrance to a central spot between the two large map zones. Then I would focus on ultra high appeal exhibits with tylosaurus, T-Rex, etc. You will need dinos that are both high appeal and okay with having several guys in their exhibit.

@@TeddyNinja yes , in Jurassic World Evolution transportation rating was very important. ,but in the second Jurassic World Evolution ist all about money i think. Btw sry 4 my english .i'm german 🦕🦖

@@giggelfissel3775 I never played the first game, but here in Jurassic world 2 having a low transportation rating will prevent potential guests from coming, which in turn reduces how much money you make.

I made 3☆ without any dinosaurs and just a ton of Innovation Centers.

Yeah I've seen a few videos on that exploit. Apparently you can knock any scenario out in just a few hours which I think is hilarious.

Oh…. When i started this challenge i was just feeding dilophosaurs with the strutis….

That's what a lot of people succeeded with, haha, I just got caught up thinking about the challenge in a different way. Very cool challenge, given both approaches can work.

@@TeddyNinja its actually pretty flawed though, your strategy works better. The dilos would be well fed but going crazy about their enclosure. I think i had like 3 breakouts before i got those feeders (i played on hard to get the genes, jurassic seems unenjoyable to me and you get no rewards other than a steam achievement)

@@lucasgaudio3720 Yeah going heavy attraction is surprisingly viable, and I've seen a few people exploiting it to the point of going up to 3 or 4 stars on attractions alone.

@@TeddyNinja you can actually have a profitable 1.5 star park only with atractions amd no dinos. You can just leave your computer and come back 10 hours later to find 120 million. The thing is that was with a cinema and just one innovation center. When i tried it with 12 innovation centers and all attravtions i came back to find a Fail screen. So eventually it stops being profitable.
