Subsequently, India will move nuclear bombs, but will never test them until much later . 3. During this time, the CIA got its biggest most important lead on the Indian nuclear project by hearing the conversations between the Indian prime minister and the people sitting at Indian nuclear ☢️ facility , which later compelled them to kill the head of Indian nuclear department Sir Homi Daba by bombing his plane . 4. The Maharaja of Kashmir wanted to remain independent but Pakistan armed Tribal militias invaded Kashmir, The jihadis targeted Sikhs and Hindus, even moderate muslims, plundering, looting, killing, and kidnapping women and children. They also forcibly converted some women and left a trail of bloodshed and fear. The Maharaja backed into a corner asked India for help but Sardar Patel(Home Minister) said India will only send in army if Kashmir officially joins India, October 26, 1947 Kashmir officially joined the republic of India. Indian army then entered Kashmir to kick out the Pakistani invaders, But our great PM Nehru being naive went to the UN hoping that UN will support India as Kashmir according to all international law belongs to India but the UN asked both parties to come to a ceasefire, which caused Kashmir to be partitioned and half of Kashmir is still occupied by Pakistan, if only instead of trying to become a international hero , Nehru initiated military action then the entire Kashmir issue would have never even existed.

The mahraja chose to remain neutral, not joining India or Pakistan. Unfortunately, the Pakistani establishment believed that because the raja was a Hindu, he would eventually join India, which led to a Pakistani army-led Kabali attack on independent Kashmir. To save Kashmir from Pakistani occupation, the maharaja requested Indian army assistance, which PM Nehru denied. The PM informed the Raja that the army would only be dispatched if he chose to merge Kashmir with India, which is why Kashmir joined India.

It was an invasion, whether you believe that it was justified or not it was undoubtedly an instance of India putting troops on soil that did not officially belong to it.
@saiprakashsirapu3924 ай бұрын
Seriously people sayings this, how Portuguese come there? Portuguese colonized part of India i.e Goa for some time just like British colonized US. We took it back to unify into one single nation. It was always been part of India. Strange that people comes and comments on this without having any knowledge.

Some Pakistanis still say the results were ambiguous, and that they still "faught off" Indians(yeah that's what they could basically despite having like all modern tanks, aircrafts, technologies, training etc. backed by US) who came in WW2 tanks. But in the following wars, Pakistan stood no chance. 1971, India cut off half of Pakistan, what an embrassment. 93000 troops surrendered. And later too in Kargil War, Pakistan was heavily criticised by International community and India decisively won that.

not decisively and it was not a war but rather a very big skirmish

Really good also another part I can also think about and is the most famous and if he hasn't already done it the 1979 Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan and be really interesting also involved Pakistan, USSR and the USA.

@@kellychuang8373 That would be cool. It would also be cool to see a video on the six day war but I doubt KZbin would allow that.

@@Freelancer-kd4zr Really seems to be the case there anyway really Google that there may have been other countries involved as well and also at the time when the Soviet Afghan War was going on Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban well before that was formed seemed like cool dudes at the time since they were fighting the USSR boy did it come for harm later on.
@Freelancer-kd4zr5 ай бұрын
@@kellychuang8373 Facts. When the Soviet Afghan war was in full swing, many countries were working together to free Afghanistan from communism. The mujahadeen were formed and later we’re so effective they managed to kick the Soviet out of Afghanistan in 10 years with 50,000 killed or wounded soldiers. Then eventually there was a splinter faction in the mujahideen which later became the Taliban. In a way it’s kind of depressing to see that after all the war that was fought in Afghanistan, the country just seems to go from one oppressive government to another.
@kellychuang83735 ай бұрын
@@Freelancer-kd4zr Really do have a point and could tell Armchair about that also speaking of other wars this country involved itself in besides the Soviets could tell Armchair about these ones as well the Anglo-Afghan Wars of the 1800's and 1919 anyway give that a Google as well involves the British and also this was no cakewalk unlike what the people at the time was expecting anyway may want to tell him about that as well.

Indian Liberation* of Goa. Driving out colonial imperialists from ones own land is not an invasion
@bottle31244 ай бұрын
Liberation from another country still means invasion, you just invaded back to get back your land, the allies storming Normandy to capture the French back from the Germans is also an invasion but it was justified
