Basilio's is peak, and despite Del giving off death flags every second he was on screen his death still made me sad I dunno how I grew to like the guy so much.

He stuck around long enough that I thought he was actually gonna survive. In fact, I thought it was Basilio that was gonna bite it and Del would be the one to awaken and join us, but nope. Still love how it turned out though, the brothers are awesome.

Same, you can feel his rage and frustration. I love how he has a crowd cheering him on, and then he points up! That's my favorite part. But Basilio's was the most heartfelt one. I also love that his archetype is the berserker, but it was the most calmed.

An interesting thing about Basilio’s awakening was undoubtedly Fidelio’s voice. We all know he died and he came back here as a spirit, but you can notice that he starts speaking with a ghostly echo once he starts apologizing. Very subtle, but very cool once you notice

If we take Basilio's awakening with Del's spirit or at least a representation of it manifesting within it. I have the headcanon that the crowd that was cheering on Strohl's were the spirits of the Halia's inhabitants that died.

My personal ranking of each party member awakening: (P.S sorry if I upset anyone :( this is just meant to be my subjective opinion) (Oh and also spoilers I guess but if you're watching this vid you either already played the whole game or don't care about spoilers lol) Strohl: Fucking SPECTACULAR. One of my favorites for sure. I love how it focuses on Strohl's past and him learning the truth what happened to his home. And the the presentation is spot on as well, with the colors from Strohl and Klinger's powers really popping and setting the tone perfectly, and the visual of the burning town and Strohl addressing the vision of a crowd with a big flourish and overall its all a damn sight to behold. This one is a damn fantastic start to the party member awakenings!! *S tier.* Hulkenberg: Pretty good! Nice emotional confrontation with zombie Grius and its nice to see her resolve renewed at learning the truth of the prince's fate. Good stuff! *B tier.* Heismay: I love this one! I adore the emotional core of Heismay coming to terms with his past and his failures and finding the determination to live again and face the future. The Overall a phenomenal scene! Nice to see one of my favorite characters from this game getting a great emotionally charged awakening! Plus the visuals with the moon are a fantastic touch. Probably one of the highlights for this whole arc of the game for me. *A tier.* Junah: Easily the weakest one for me. Which sucks because I really like her as a character but oh well. This one was mostly just disappointing for me, mostly because instead of having big moment of triumph and declaring her resolve like the others she's just like "Hey you guys have that power right? Maybe I can do it too!" and then the mystical voice is just like "Alright I gotcha" and bestows the power to her. Maybe I'm missing something but that's just embarrassing AND disappointing, especially when she HAD a moment of triumphant resolve when talking to Glodell that COULD have been what sparked her awakening but just wasn't for some reason :l . Credit where its due however that moment of triumph where she argues her independence IS cool and its also neat how she goads and tricks Glodell into declaring a duel, which doubles as some pretty nice foreshadowing. And the visuals are stellar as always, especially when she briefly appears in her stage dress. Overall it has some nice elements to it but could have been handled far better. Sorry Junah fans :( *C tier* Eupha: Not as strong as some of the greats among it but still very good! The emotional struggle Eupha has between her faith and sense of duty to the ritual versus her love for the island and its people is strong and the resolution is also great, even if she need a little push to come to the conclusion she did. That emotional core is great, the visual of her mask shattering is some nice symbolism, and overall it ALMOST made the Dragon Temple easier to stomach lmao. *A tier* Basilio: If Strohl's awakening was a fantastic START to these scenes, then Basilio's was a damn perfect example of leaving the best for last imo. The bond between Basilio and Fidelio is very strong, which makes the tragedy of Fidelio's death hit even harder. And it was incredibly rewarding seeing Basilio's eyes be opened and turn on Louis after rooting for him to do so for a whole arc at this point. This awakening is an emotional roller-coaster that does not stop, from Fidelio's death and Basilio's grief, to the vision of Fidelio's spirit encouraging Basilio to stand on his own to feet and decide what he truly fights for, to Basilio deciding to move forward and fight in Fidelio's name, its all just spectacular. And when Basilio said into his heart "See you 'round, Del", rather than launching into a declaration of resolve like the others, it hit me like nothing else. And the sanctist citizens returning to pay their respects to Fidelio was just the icing on the cake. Overall, a damn perfect scene for the lovably silly paripus guy that looks like Adachi lmao. *S tier*

I think the reason Glodell wasn't protected by the tournament's rules was because when he decided to betray Louis, whom he was championing, he was no longer at the top of the rankings. I other words, Glodell's hubris just dropped him down to the lower rankings.

He wouldn’t have dropped rankings unless he denounced from Louis publicly, it’s the peoples thoughts that determine the ranking, no one other then the three present knew he betrayed Louis, not enough to make any real change. Could be wrong but it makes the most sense I think

One of the reasons for Louis's supporters, because of him because of his military strength. The followers sees Glodell as Louis's lackey, so seeing him bringing small human head while also bragging about it, especially with what Forden and the Protag brought to the table, made a sour taste in their mouth.

First of all, great compilations so far! X3 Do you think you could do a Normal?/MC/Enemy Advantage eyes cutscenes for every character?.. You know, when you do a SQUAD attack without and with stun , either no eyes happens, or every protagonist's eyes/reaction appears Again, same with the Enemy Advantage one (1st battles with the armor outfit and 1st dungeon versions of Will/MC having a "OH SH*T!!" reaction with the white/blue outfit)

I think each made a declaration of their truest self. The protagonist to save others. Strohl to fight for his people. Hulkenberg to save her prince to right her failures. Heismay to protect the children and not be bound by guilt. Junah to be her true self and not pretend any more. Eupha to protect her people not as a priestess, but because she loves them. And Basilio fights by passing the torch of his brother's will and making his own decisions. He didn't shout it as a declaration like the rest, but as an honest promise to his brother and himself.
