Over 6 minutes in and yeah, Atlus gutted the tactics system and AI after it was received poorly in P3. Refer to Nam’s P4 without Narukami run for evidence.

Wow, the AI in this game seems surprisingly intuitive given how it usually is in modern Persona games. I saw a video once doing a challenge similar to this in P5R and the AI party members were not very smart 😂

That's because Persona's Tactics were the using the same broken code as in P4 onward. Only P3 FES was the best tactics were in.

Haven't finished the video so maybe you find out but the toilet gives +luck on days that end in a multiple of 5, not idlesday. It just seems like idlesday for a while because it's a 5 day week and the first month is 30 days, so the first two months every day ending in a multiple of 5 happens to be an idlesday.

Every 5 days is idlesday so that's correct, but the luk bonus is not just in days that end in 5. 8/10 I got an idlesday bonus (according to my notes).

@ yeah, I meant days that end in a multiple of 5. But it’s not just idlesday, since once you have a 31 day month everything’s thrown off and you get lucky on multiple of 5 days that aren’t idlesdays

ahh, you may have not noticed, every month in the game's calendar goes up to 30! then they have the 5-day "idlesweek" in december to make the 365-day year.

im only as far as the masked dancer unlock in the video masked revelry is 3 mp if no liniage is shared. overall its 3,4,6,7 mp a turn, depending on how many party members are in the same liniage, very good casually to regen mp

1:34:30 actually, you can just enter the velvet room, oh sorry academia, my mistake to reset the crystals getting two roots per run, used that to max out the royal archetypes. Wish I knew that before maxing the mc in the sky palace.

I'm aware, but I think it's faster to pickup the item and reload the save since it's right next to the crystals. There's even an item near the 3 crystals that spawn fish!

6:00 wait. I think that’s a bug. I played through this section a few days ago (with direct commands obviously) and I wasn’t able to change formations as it hadn’t been taught to us yet. I might be misremembering, but if that’s true then using AI tactics allows you to do some things you shouldn’t be able to. 🤔

I realized it too late, early to mid I dumped my stats to mag coz you won't meet proper mag user till mid game, then balanced the stats between str and mag coz I think Royal slash use str as damage. I deal tons of damage but it could be bigger if I used it all on mag than make it balanced

If you're locked on and press attack from a distance, you'll dash in.

Because the only *actual* games with AI party members as the main gimmick are Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES. Persona 3 Portable that added manual control to the party already had a very dumbed down version of the original AI that was nowhere near as good as the one in P3 and P3 FES, while Reload just outright made it completely braindead.

The AI actually know how to Pass and knows AI by default? That would NEVER happen to Persona AIs, they would always took bajillion years to find the weakness... Possibly at every battle. Another infamous thing is that AI in Persona absolutely hates using Buff nor Items, so... Let's see how it goes on this one

But you can check NitsuaGamer's P5 Do Nothing, MagicMarcos's P4 Golden without Yuu or Nam's Compendium's P3 without Minato/Makoto and P4 Vanilla without Yuu or LeftQN's P3 Reload with AI Party Members for more reference.
