I was thinking the same thing but remember there are different costume options and accessories so you can change base Yamcha to the dragonball version as well as Master Roshi you can change him to his Jackie Chun costume I'm not sure about other characters but those are two more OG characters in the game it's not confirmed but I wouldn't be to surprised if you could change base piccolo to king piccolo like the others because it's basically the same thing but we'll have to wait and see on that one 👍

Eis was never in Tenkaichi only Nova. His moveset was so sick but they're definitely going to be adding a lot of people in DLCs. supreme kai is most likely not in the base roster because he is shown in the daima trailers to be an important character and as he is an already fully trained deity he would have the same move set as he has already hit his peak so instead of having 2 of the same guy with the same move set they just saved him for the daima dlc

@@mindofvirtuoso3358the thing about that is, most saiyans lose all reason when they transform and act on instinct. So it makes perfect sense for them to be similar from an in-universe perspective. Plus having the option gives the characters more utility options if the right conditions are met. Say you’re playing a 3v3 and you’re a raditz anchor, you’re behind but you take out their second and the last one they have uses only rush supers, but it happens to be a night stage. Now you can transform and their only option is combos but your advantage is lessened by the slower movement

Not going to happen for legal reasons. They can only add characters from anime not manga. Moves dont count its because of the publisher getting into legal battles with Tuyo Toro the man Toriyama entrusted the series 2. I do know that the legal rights regarding Dragon Ball as a whole are messy, and the contracts governing these things aren't exactly public so a lot of it is speculation based on comments made during interviews. But I'm pretty sure there is an interview out there where either the producer or game director on Xenoverse 2 said that they are allowed to use manga exclusive content, but they haven't because the anime is more popular and they don't want to confuse fans who haven't kept up with the manga.

Im a mixed bag on Super 17. We acting like his arc in GT was peak, when it was actually really bad. Took so much plot and Goku turning off his brain to even let 17 become a problem that SSJ4 couldnt handle without blowing themself up lol. Hes hype recently cause of a few other games, but I am personally glad that we got the best parts of GT. SSJ4, SSJ4 Gogeta and Baby. I do wish everyone will come back in a hype dlc or free update, like the great ape forms for all saiyan characters. But for now, peak game cant wait to play.

I think it makes sense that they add less popular characters like frieza soldier and babidi in the base game over the more popular ones like Pikkon because it's an easier sell for the dlc characters. Like people aren't going to be as hyped for DLC characters if they're those less popular ones but they will be for characters like Super 17.

I still can't believe they decided to scrap Super 17 but included Frieza Soldier and Cui... I'm like, how?! Why?! :') Though, don't slander Anilaza. Dude was strong AF in DBS. Took all the SSBs, 17 and Gohan to defeat him. I was so hyped when I saw that Anilaza was included! Also not everaone from DBS was included. Champa & Vados missing is mind boggling to me. Knowing that there will be DLC, I do hope that the characters that weren't revealed in Sparking Zero's main roster will be added, as well as characters from other Dragon Ball games. Hell, I'd even want to see those joke characters like the What-If Fusions. Could you imagine if Tiencha, Bullpan, or those joke fusions that Goku thought of if he fused with either Mr. Satan or Dende? Pikkon is basically proto-Hit. SSK actually was anime only before it was in Super and it was used against Pikkon. It'll be neat if we get all of those characters in DLC. It'll be interesting to see if we get them all in packs.. like Bojacks Gang, the Armored Squadron, and maybe one day we'll get Hatchiyack since he was in RB2, and Raging Blast was basically a spiritual successor
