All- Clad D5 Stainless 11pc Set Unboxing

Would like to know an update on these pots. I just purchased the D5 brushed, but not sure about keeping them. Are you having any issues with the brushed finish as for keeping it clean? Can you place them in the dishwasher? Also, do you think they're too heavy?

They sure held up pretty well since i got them. As for maintenance, like any other stainless steele pots, we use bar keepers friend cleanser 1x/wk to avoid build up regardless of it being brush finished. Built is pretty solid, hence the weight and I got used to it. These could easily be handed down to your future generations. I don't have a dishwasher but they are dishwasher safe. Really nice cookware set! I thinked long time to buy this set but I after some research and reviews for the best cookware set for the induction my choice was stopped on Demeyere Atlantis series. Simply because Demeyere are the best for the induction cookware with their 3 plys base of special alloy called triplinduc added to a 1 ply of silver, 1 coper core, another ply of silver and finish with a ply of stainless steel 18/10. But you have a great cookware set!

I prefer to have a lit on the frying pan. Does All Clad sell lids for those pans?

Not sure if they sell the lid for the frying pan. The largest on the set can be used but a bit too big

A prying pan never gets a lid. That is why you have a saute pan if what you'll cook requires a lid.

May I know Why you choose brushed rather than polished ?

This was the only option available at Costco. Otherwise, it functions the same way as the polished counterpart.
