I think one of the biggest clues is the young Xehonort telling Sora about the cost of misusing the power of waking, and later when he's defeated yelling that Sora's time in this world is over. That's likely tied to the explanation for how he ends up in the realistic Tokyo

The world he ends up in is the basis for another SE game called The World Ends With You. It's a place where people who have died can play a game of sorts and the winner is brought back to life. Basically, Sora overused the Power of Waking, and bringing Kairi back meant he had to die. So now he has to play the Reaper Game to come back to life. If I had to guess, both Riku and Kairi are going to head out to find Sora. This explains how Riku gets lost in Verum Rex. As for Kairi, well, I highly doubt she's gonna sit around anymore. She trained to become a keyblade weilder in order to help Sora.

@@215cris6 its unfortunate that it took so long, but SE switched engines halfway through development. They started development in 2013 and it released in 2019. Tbh thats actually not even bad considering they had to start over. Lets be real, there have been 12 (im pretty sure) KH titles now. Taking that into consideration along with the fact that the KH3 engine is fine and perfectly usable for future titles, development for DLC or KH4 will not take as long as we waited for a numbered sequel.

Texhinicaly sora "did" since his heart melded with ventus heart for a while and ventus was alive during that period of time. But that's stretching the rules quite thin. So it's not impossible. Highly improbable though.

KH3 made the rules of time travel even more confusing since they had keyblade wielders from the Age of Fairytales (before the first keyblade war) time travel to the present (second keyblade war) when none of them existed in the present (and why was Ven's body still Ven after his heart left it even though his body is presumably a replica like the others' from his time?). Basically, according to KH3 people can travel to any time with there hearts. Not to mention, Luxu seems to have summoned the Foretellers to the present using...space-time powers? Again, who knows. Instead of KH3 giving us some answers, it just created more confusion.

well these aren't the only three that point that out, there was one earlier in the game, where Luxu informed Sora, that a reward might be around the corner. and the next one would also be that Luxu was mostly missing from certain scenes, but was mentioned that he was looking for a black box, the other was Maleficent before the start of the Keyblade war, discussing with Pete that the box doesn't exist "right now", so that basically makes 6, but wait there was a 7th, Maleficent's and Pete's search for the box during the whole game lead to no result, meaning that the box had a minor importance in the game, but means a lot for the future.

@@MegaSonicfan23 No that statement by Luxu is extremely vague, we can only guess what it is, but we aren't close to even knowing what it is, since Sora was found to be alive in the secret ending, as well as Sora's representative chess piece being the first to be placed on Eraqus' side of the chess board, during the epilogue. the other thing is Sora was given a "wildcard" by Luxord, for some reason, what is this wildcard? and how will it turn the tide? it only stands to reason, that some of the true O13 members knew something about the upcoming events. or some of them besides Marluxia and Larxene have links to KHUX, Luxord might be one of those people as well as Demyx, because we know very little about them. It's like the entire KH3, is basically one giant hint about KH4, more questions than answers, and very vague statements made by certain characters.

Heavily doubt it. The epilogue and secret ending heavily imply that these things will carryover to the next KH games, being KH4 or non-title KH games. KH3 was the end of the Xehanort Saga, the next games indicate the Foretellers and Yozora Saga.

I doubt that’s the last we’ll see of the characters you mentioned. Aqua and Terra are connected to Ven and would never just leave him. If he’s involved, they will be too, even if it is just support. Most likely every character seen playing on Destiny Islands in the ending cutscene will have some part to play in the future. If they go the “Dragonball Z” route and make all of them unimportant, i’m dropping the series.

Don't get your hopes up for a kiss, because they didn't even show the Disney kisses at the scenes where the kiss took place in the film. Examples: Rapunzel & Flynn, Hercules & Meg. They instead shared a passionate embrace. It's ok though :) I just want them to say "I love you" out loud ^^

Well we still have a few DLC’s for Kh3 coming. This isn’t a FF15 situation though. Nomura said he didn’t want to focus on DLC’s and wanted to focus on the next title in the series. Not to mention, assuming it will stay on the unreal engine, they already know how the engine works and therefore it shouldn’t take as long.

It means he is indeed dead but in another word line, it seems he arrived at *the world ends with you* version of Shibuya and the reapers game is basically a survival game when people who died are given a second chance to come back to life, in order to enter the game you must pay a price: its supposed to be the most important thing for the player, sora will likely participate to regain his way back to the realm of light. Unless he arrives at Shibuya after the events of *the world ends with you* , in that case he could still be alive and we are going to play trough a new story arc for that world. Uh As much I have heared Xigbar/Braig was supposently a member of the dandylions, so Avas group... Braigs body was either taken or his real name aint Braig and he changed it so he can be nonstop incognito.. If so, he was doing his own thing, since Ava didn't knew his face, he was able to do what he wanted. So who knows if they (Luxu and the master of masters) wheren't already nobodies? Kingdom Hearts is already a very convoluted story with plot twists that give me a headache.

I’m sorry but people bashing the end of the game are crazy I felt the emotional weight of every fight and loved that they hit you with everything all at once. It was billed as the end of Saga and that’s exactly what they delivered. I’m satisfied and don’t think that the next game will take as long. The reason why this did is because Pixar was the big hold up in obtaining permission for its ips. I loved that they did exactly what they said they would do, and finished the the Saga. Of course they are going to tease other stuff and cliffhanger us because this was the end of MX story not Sora’s or the MOM and the foretellers and stuff...I question how many people actually play these games because they love the characters because if you do how can you complain that he resolved the other trios and even gave us complete context to Sora and Kairi’s relationship. How he did everything was exactly how I expected. Seriously, I literally called, that you would rotate between party members and defeat everyone, before fighting the last boss in phases with Donald and goofy, also called that Sora and Kairi would share the paupu fruit and that they would ultimately be separated again. I knew she would get taken again too I was just happy she played a part and I think she will be bigger next Saga. I’m satisfied because I am smart enough to know exactly how Nomura thinks...sorry if a lot of other people aren’t but he did exactly everything I expected the way I expected him to. The game is not perfect but I see it this way the end stages of the game is your reward for going through the Disney worlds it really is a spectacle and I loved everything damn second of it and am stoked about the lost masters Saga

Nomura has no interest in making cosmetic stuff or season passes. He has stated in at least two interviews that if he does DLC, and he thinks it’s likely, it will be one big gameplay/story DLC. Plus small free ones included in updates.
