I hope/think they might not take so long this time. To be fair, the time between 1 and 2 was only 4 years. The KH3 gap was never meant to be this big, but Nomura’s Versus XIII project set it back big time. Now I’m pretty sure he’s put KH on his front burner until it’s done. His only major non-KH project I’m aware of right now if FFVII remake, and there’s a chance he’ll step down from that and focus on KH. I could see the next game coming in just a few years.

I love how he tells them, "I hope you like long stories." I swear they probably responded like this: Them: Wait, so he took over Terra's body time traveled to Ansem with amnesia... Luxu: Yep. Them: Nobody as Xemnas and a new Ansem as his heartless... Luxu: Yep. Them: Organization 13, time travel, why did he feel the need to make his plan so complex?! Luxu: Hell if I know, I was just playing along until he died. Them: He made you part of him? What was that like? Luxu: The less we talk about that...the better. @@victorfarias8086 Before the reveal, I thought Xigbar had a tragic story with a tragic end, being a bit like us; coveting the keyblade but being cursed to never get our hands on one. But then the reveal happened, I was pissed because I saw it as a twist for twist's sake. But now that I'm playing through all the games again, knowing what I know now and listening to his dialogue, the fucker was never even subtle about being Luxu. Every second line is him mocking Sora for not being as good as Keyblade masters of old, and even under Xemnas he's been doing his own thing. I wouldn't have guessed "Oh hey, some Keyblade Master of old is body-surfing for some greater scope villain's agenda", but he definitely knew a lot more shit than he ought to for a mercenary, and he had too few interactions with Eraqus's students to hold them to the regard he did in his fight against Sora in 2. So what I'm saying is "Fucker's smurfing hard".

@@gepettogreco Actually yea even in 2009 (i think) Nomura said in an interview that fans should keep an eye on Xigbar as he would have a very important role in the story and that he wasn’t what he seemed. A lot of people give Nomura shit for seemingly making stuff up as he goes but clearly he actually does have an overall plan for the story.

havoc19x Well they didn’t work on it for 13 years of course, they probably spent the last 4-5 years working on it and it feels like 13 if we just assume that the “filler” games don’t exist/count. We’ll eventually get a dlc in a year or so and a new game maybe in 3-4 or more, keep in mind that they’re working on FF7 Remastered and Nomura said that he’d rather work on a new game than making DLCs. Nomura also stated that he’s gonna avoid making filler games. We’ll see, I honestly don’t believe they just abandon the game like this, especially because it has lot of potential still and it’d be kinda of a waste if they just decide to move on.

For people who looked over it, there was a final scene in Olympus coluseum where what I described happened. What's so important is that luxu, is the one who is supposed to hide the box. This is why he was watching them. Another reason it's important is that he says "may your heart be your guiding key" except we all know it was cut off. If you remember, yen did said that the line was used in a time long before, which is the time of fairy tales (where Luxu become a apprentice and was told to guard the box and pass on "no name"). So ya know, it's easily looked over considering it's a very short scene.

If I'm completely honest, I'm hoping that the next game will have very little to do with Disney considering how KH3 was almost entirely Disney. Of the 11(Technically) worlds in 3, 8 of them were Disney, the other 3 were KH original. We had 0(zero, unless you count Moogles) Final Fantasy/Non-KH Square representation, and that's kinda disappointing when you look back at the roots of the game. That aside, I still have so many questions. Who were the Seekers with Xehanort at the graveyard, Vexen and Demyx bailed to help out Ienzo and Wise Ansem? Why did Sora know Xion's name, she was erased entirely from existence at the end of 358, memory and all? Did the X-blade that Master Xehanort use actually count, considering that there weren't 13 Darknesses and 7 Lights, with Xion switching sides, Terra coming back, and Roxas being brought to life, even after losing Kairi, there were still 9 Lights to the 10 Darknesses? Who were those 12 warriors you had to fight in Scala Ad Caelum supposed to be, I get that they were some kind of representation of Xehanort's Seekers, but their design was much too specific to just be some random figments in armor?

Probably not. I don't see KH4 being more than 7 years away and from everything we know Nomura is working on FFVIIR kindof unwillingly (which is why I hope they will switch directors. Someone who is actually passionate about that project will probably do a better job directing it and we will get a better game in the end) FF16 from all we know isn't even being worked on yet after FF15 was seen as a semi failure by square enix (the final wave of dlcs which would have been the end of the story was canceled) I don't think they really want to make another mainline FF game too quickly. And with Nomura still being salty about not being allowed to finish FFVSXIII he also probably won't direct another FF game any time soon.

I grew up only playing 1 and 2, then decided to dive deep and learn about all the plot before 3. I didn't even play them all I just learned about them and by the end of 3 didnt feel confused I felt like it was AWESOME. Tying your characters in to so many worlds hurts the new comers but makes it so much more EPIC when you understand who everyone is.

@@@iortizjunior Kingdom Hearts 3 is my first KH game. Before I started to buy KH3, I watched playthroughs of people (without commentary) playing every game before KH3. That's how I understood the story. I like the story. The controls of KH3 I don't like (I had another huge issue with Star Fox Zero) and may not let me play KH3 many times. One playthrough may be enough for me since I struggled with that playthrough by pressing the wrong button many times due to muscle memory thinking the jump button should be a button I always press in other games that are "similar". It's 2019 and some developers don't think custom controls are necessary. Thank goodness Smash Ultimate let me choose to customize what button does what. I would've stopped playing the game. I'm not the person to buy one certain controller just for that game that is currently not supported by other games > gamecube controller for the switch. I may not play another KH game and just enjoy people playing future games unless I can customize my buttons.

These seven are probably: Lauriam Elrena Skuld Brain Strelitzia Ephemer and Ventus Maybe - the one that's the traitor and + Ava or the player If you have no clue who these people are they are most of them are the second generation of fortellers. One of them is a traitor though and killed Strelitzia. Elrena is just another one of the dandelions.

I know it just came out something like two weeks ago, but I want the next one already. I had questions that I was hoping this game would answer, but Nomura cockblocked me yet again. Made me think that the Lost Masters and the Black Box would play a much larger part in the plot, but they were left to the post-credit scene and the Maleficent/Pete side plot. He peaked my curiosity, but ultimately, I was left unsatisfied.

Something that I think doesn’t get enough attention is how masterfully they introduced Yozora in the series. From a video game character in the Toy Box, to a potentially new hero or villain. And they did it with very little screen time. PS: The Foretellers seem like they’ll make SICK villains. Perhaps just as interesting, if not better, than Organization XIII.

Okay so Kingdom Hearts is actually where all hearts are supposed to go when separated from their bodies. It's also the original source of all Light. And as we know from this clusterfuck of a series hearts and light can be used as power. So what did Xehanort want to do? Well he wanted to use Kingdom Hearts to hit the reset button on the entire universe. Everything was fine in the Land of Fairy Tales but darkness spread like a cancer and it won't stop. So he wanted to make his X-Blade and use Kingdom Hearts to erase the entire universe. Like all of it. Then use Kingdom Hearts again to make a new Big Bang, starting the universe over again, so he can watch over it and make sure the people in it don't mess it up again.
