For starters, China's flag doesn't need a change as it's already a Communist country. Second of all, former Soviet countries (e.g. Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia, and possibly Latvia and Moldova) would simply re-absorbed into the USSR and fly under the Soviet Union's flag. Finally, Germany simply would re-use the flag once flown by East Germany.

Some already communist flags made more communist. Except Vietnam, it's stayed as it is. Actually there wouldn't be two Koreas if they both had communism. But communists love splitting into factions and turning on each other, so that could be the case as well.

One thing that most people do not know that all the countries mentioned as “communist countries” are not really under communism but ruled by a single party run or influenced by Communism only. Communism means all the people are equal and the property is owned equally by all of them, that means communism does not exist today because it cannot be reached in reality.

Some of these countries are already communist! China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos. So no need to change them. The former Soviet Republics were formally communist, so they would just go back to using the old SSR flags of their Republics. Also, some countries were formally communist. The Eastern European countries. They had their own communist flags. East Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania. Serbia would use the old flag of Yugoslavia. Then you have countries like Benin and Mongolia that were communist. They would just go back to using their old flags. And North and South Korea would be one country using the North Korean flag.
