You should combine this with the two earlier ones I have posted and make a supercut. Btw, most critters should know this, unless like me they can never remember, but Jason Charles Miller wrote the original theme, with Sam adding the lyrics for the second campaign. The current theme is written by Sam and Peter Habib. (Sadly, those yt credits just say "Critical Role " but let's give them proper credit.)

I can't stand the rotoscope; it makes me think of "Take On Me" by Ah-Ha, which was probably the point since it was a woman going into a story, of sorts. I wish they kept the live action. At least the newest version (as of a few days ago) is a damn good replacement.

I still can't believe they let their first campaign 3 intro get canceled. It was SO GOOD. The new animated one is nowhere near as good. My favorite will always be the campaign 2 animated Your Turn To Roll intro though.

i listen to the podcast version sped up by 1.5 exclusively so now it‘s thursday night just sounds incorrect at normal speed. combined with the slow motion visuals the live action one also doesn‘t appeal to me at all, they all look super airbrushed and edited beyond recognition and it doesn‘t work for me. i know they‘ve been using a different one for a long while now and it doesn‘t really affect me because i‘m not seeing it anyway. i quite like the new animated one they‘ve gotten recently, animated intros just hit the spot. i think my favourite by a long shot is your turn to role, thursday night (1.5 speed) was a grower, your turn to role is instant goosebumps every time without fail.

he was a major problem. problem character and problem person. meta gaming, a huge sense of entitlement, little to no impulse control, and he felt like he had to win vs everyone else. he wanted the show to be about him. he doesn’t appear in any of the retellings of the story of Vox Machina b/c he’s not important to the core narative of the group, similar or Taliesin’s original character from before they started streaming.
