There is an nearby electric crab shaped battery that makes them appear. You will gain the electric ability after you defeat the eel in Flotsam Vale where you can use to activate it.

8:02 for people looking for those shrimps they are running around just outside the flotsam vale area entrance. I found one running around where the fish spewing gunk are an the other running into the ring buoy just like in the video. They can take some time so just be patient running around and giving ample room for them to appear.

The Large Crystal at 7:44 is much easier to jump to if you run first. Hold Run - go forward then jump from edge you will easily make the outcrop the crystal is on.

That's it ! I finally found the last 3 crystals on an enemy like a large crab with a big electric hammer not too far from the line that goes back to the Moon Snail Shells from Ridge Overlook🤗 I'm still a little disappointed not to have had 350 but we're all in this situation. Beautiful moral at the end, thank you for your guide👌

Yes, some enemies with umami don’t spawn unless you go Flotsam Valley first and you will need some abilities there too.

I noticed that when you walk towards the entrance for Flotsam runoff, it looks like they just spawn there when you get close enough. Still had to chase them alittle, though. I was looking around for them, and that specific life ring was in view when four black clouds formed, and those shrimp and two of the loki-looking fish appeared and started moving. I think I even saw it happen before this point, I just didn't realize they what they were. Edit: tested it and they appeared again. You can use them to get free shark eggs, too. There is also a different enemy nearby that drops the another crab stowaway.

Yes, you’ll need to venture through Flotsam Valley before all enemies appear

You have got to be kidding me. I probably spent like 2 hours looking EVERYWHERE for those last 5. The total crystal count does equal exactly 1,400, which means those 5 SHOULD exist, did they forget to put them in??? This is honestly a great game and I enjoyed it, but there really are quite a few bugs I experienced. Like this one, the game crashed 3 times, the last of the 3 Bloodstar Limbs in the Prawn Shop just completely disappeared and I was never able to buy it, enemies clipping me through floors with their attacks, falling into the abyss and the game respawning me STILL over the abyss, making an infinite loop of falling (I had the equippable for no abyss damage in that section, but the game auto-killed me after 5 falls in a row despite having HP left), and the list goes on. I hope they can address these issues and patch them so the game can truly shine.

Word of mouth, no one on the internet has confirmed finding them. It may be mentioned in the devs next patch notes as they were notified of the issue.

Like he said at the beginning: The last 5 are bugged out, unavailable, non existent. Until a patch comes out that puts them back in the game, there is no way to obtain them.
