Honestly good video and idea, I don't think I ever would've thought of cut content from blackout. Apparently the reason the Slasher wasn't added was because it slasher itself was low quality and its animations sucked said by Uni. (former head staff)

I think Slasher, ads and screams should not be added because it just doesn't fit into the game. Slasher is a fictional weapon and kinda unrealistic. Ads don't fit cuz the District isn't familiar with it's lockdown. Screams aren't added because of the Audio, but also the player's character gender and realism overall.

in my opinion, all of this cut content should've made it to the game. this makes me remember how many things got lost after the sneak peaks.

I know Criminality uses the exact same scream sound effects which is just a pitched up demoman scream from tf2. I'm not sure how Valve is with other games using their sounds but I'm fairly certain there are other Half-life sounds within both Blackout and Crim, so my guess is that the screaming was removed to separate itself from crim, that or the devs just didn't like it.

the old ragdolls were also a lot better but were for some reason scrapped, same thing goes for the old fall damage

The flashlight could be added, but it would be very difficult to add it to the game because of the current lighting; Shadowmap.

ngl flashlight should be an extra grip and have a keybind whether you want it toggled on or off, this can be useful in metros whenever theres a power outage

i think the reason for bountys not being next to names (maybe, dont trust me) during pre beta and beta maybe a lil after, in criminality your bounty would be next to your name in the leaderboard (i forgot when they removed it)

Theres always another ways to optimize the lightning or make laggy features actually stable and not laggy, and im saying that from my own experience, theres a lot of things they could've done to optimize that feature but they js gave up and chose to not do anything about it and js remove it
