Even if Chlorinde couldn't do anything after the door was frozen she was still necessary to the plan. Wriothesley and the whole of Fontaine wouldn't have escaped alive if Chlorinde hadn't shot the mechanism for the gates. She's also not the type to panic under pressure, which is a pretty good trait to have when the fate of an entire nation is relying on you.

He could easily replace her and become the archon of Fontaine but here, he showed that he's willing to protect the people including the archon from the harsh sentence of the prophecy. you will never have enough primo to pull for everything as a F2P, some people have God luck and get characters under 40 pulls but those aren't normal lol. You need to snipe characters you want as F2p unfortunately, and that's 180 pulls if you have the worst luck.
