It would be interesting to see how it compares to the T14s Gen 6 AMD version. Looking forward to that review,

I'm having a hard time finding reviews for it

@@motozirillo same here lol but I guess the 1080p screen on AMD laptops would be my deal breaker. As I'm moving from a MacBook I don't think I can ever come back to that awful screen now
@silvernbeige9 күн бұрын
@@TheMr82k I agree, a 1440p screen on the the snapdragon variant would've been perfect

Love the review. When does the review of the T14s Gen6 AMD come out? I like to see which is the best.

I bought this laptop for work and it's just incredible. It almost has a week of battery life for my use-case (I'm mostly using MS Office and Adobe Software). Actually tried gaming on this and it was really impressive imo. Also, there is quite functional Ubuntu for this machine already.

Great review! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the AMD variant, particularly regarding its battery life and thermals.

It's really tempting to swap out my P1 Gen 4 for this. I have a desktop for gaming now and it would be nice to have a lighter laptop to tote around that I can use on battery for much longer than my P1.

MacBook pro M3pro 11core 14'' VS T14s Gen6 14'' snapdragon, what is your choice?

The screen dimming may be for battery saving. I remember in the old days, in Battery Saver mode, it would dim everything in the background and only the active window was bright. Not sure if the Lenovo utility still has this feature, but I always thought this was cool, even if I never used it (since I used my computer at home, plugged in).

P14s is basically the same computer as T14. T14s is always thinner, I think because the memory is soldered.

Hey Beau! When are you gonna do the video talking about changes you'd like to see on the 2025 Lenovo legion pro 7i?

Why no upgradable ram and regular size ssd? I have a t14 gen 2, I would love to upgrade for a snapdragon one but I want full size ssd and upgradable ram xD

Yeah, 2242 isn't ideal. This LPCAMM 2 video explains why no upgradeable RAM: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWTdc2x7e9Ono6M

Do you happen to know what the battery life difference would be for the OLED vs the low power IPS?

People still talk about windows on arm ? Pretty Shure it will just fade into irrelevance again.

You might be right, but why dump on ARM? Choices are good.

It's poor support with Linux. I'll rather stick with X86 AMD CPU or Macbook Air M4.
