The build quality is great, and the battery life has really improved. I had no idea the cpu is 8 cores, i know the 365 has 10 and the other models have 12 cores which i would have liked in this model, i believe they will use the ryzen 9 370 and 375 for the P14 series since they're supposed to be the highest performer in thinkpads. I can only agree with the review. I've had my T14s for a week now and it makes a very good impression. Very good build quality and in energy-saving mode you can easily manage 8 hours of mixed use. The lightness and size makes it the perfect laptop for me that can do everything, whether I'm at home or on the road.

@proautoscanАй бұрын
i think for this model 58Wh battery is fine, the CPU is power efficient and the FullHD IPS display is also good in this regard, we should have a full day battery life for regular usage. I noticed they placed a 75Wh battery in the new P14s with Core Ultra 1 CPU but the battery life is similar mainly due to the larger 14,5'' display that has a 3072 x 1920 resolution that eats more juice.

12:00 You can charge it with a 45w charger also, at least the T14 Gen4 you could. I bought a 45w Anker Nano charger that I use while on the go and it's great. When turned off, you can charge it with any usb-c charger, I have tested with a 15w / 5v charger and it works. It's very easy to charge and that is just another reason for my love for Thinkpads. The T14 Gen4 supported up to 80w charging while being connected to a 100w charger while the T14s Gen4 supported 60w even when connected to a 100w charger, I would assume the Gen6 would be similar.

@5:55 Thx for stating the obvious that 1200P looks great on a 14"laptop screen. I am tired of some tech reviewers calling it low resolution and instead promoting 2K or higher displays. There's no reason a laptop with an iGPU to be pushing that many pixels, which also consumes more battery unnecessarily.

I'll be honest: this looks bad. RAM is soldered (even though Strix Point CAN do normal DDR5-5600 up to 256GB according to AMD's specsheet), WiFi/BT is soldered. The screen is FHD only according to Lenovo's website, it uses the worst possible Strix Point CPU with no options, and with all that, the battery is super small. They still don't sell 64GB RAM versions on the website, lol. And its cost is nowhere close to being competitive. This is a disposable laptop with all these limitations on configurations and aftermarket upgrades. I'll pass on this one.
@MashITTechАй бұрын
agree with most of your points except. 64gb is available on UK Lenovo site. Soldered on ram whilst being non upgradable is at least fast 7500, looking at benchmarks with previous T14 gen 5 and its SODIMM 5600 ram it came behind both this laptop and the Gen 4 T14 with soldered ram
