wow that talk was so genuine. That's why we love you Louis! Also about your question, I think something amazing for you to do is explore the arctic. It is the most beautiful place, you can learn so much about the incredible lifestyle there, and it would be a real adventure. it is also not the sort of thing that you usually do (travelling in warm and tropical climates) so it would be a really interesting change and a new kind of adventure

The arctic would be so awesome. Louis being so honest and genuine is why I watch. It's really not about him traveling as much as it is about who he is.

I'd really like to see more volunteering/service-related videos! I think you have the kind of audience that would enjoy watching someone like you push the limits when it comes to volunteer work, and hopefully inspire them to do the same. I served for 3 months in Burkina Faso doing projects involving the procurement of water to remote areas and it was life changing, ESPECIALLY the people. Good luck on your adventures, louis!!!

Hey Louis :) So you asked for suggestions, I've followed you for a while, but haven't seen all your vlogs.. just starting to watch them on a regular basis this last month, so if you've done any of these, apologies and disregard :) Ok, so some of the things I've thought of that you might like: Krakatoa in Indonesia; Angkor Wat in Cambodia; Tham Kong Lo cave in Central Laos (its this 7 km cave that's made by a river running through it..It's Really Cool. You have to hire a local to let you go through it on a boat, it's pitch black so you have to wear helmet lamps, the person will let you get out every now and then to let you look around a little.. it seems Awesome); Iceland seems really cool, you could road trip around if you haven't already...that's all I can think of. A note: I follow this American couple, Kyde and Eric, who have lived and worked in Japan for the last 4 or 5 years or so.. you would like them I think. The 1st 3 things I mentioned I thought of b/c they've done those. They like traveling, and are like you, they like adventure, they like doing things cheap so that they can see a lot... in 2009-10 they did a 14 month world traveling trip, and went to a Lot of places (and have done Multiple other trips besides that). You might want to get in touch with them, not only b/c if you decide you would want to do any or all of the first 3, they would prob have a lot of info about that stuff, but also b/c they might have other neat suggestions of places to go...as their Much more adventure-minded than me ... Haha :D Hope that helped any ^_^

Would love to see more road trips! How about in an even more unique way? Like choosing a small location somewhere in Asia and making it there all the way from Europe by train, bus, car etc. instead of just flying straight in, and without making a distinctive plan for the route beforehand. The feeling of not knowing what's going to happen next would make following (and making) the journey very exciting!

I think sometimes the most extraordinary places aren't always the most extreme. I would think outside the box... how can you that a somewhat ordinary place and find the extraordinary. You do that a lot with London. Just remember you don't need to by flying out of planes, hanging out with lions, or be surrounded my stunning scenery to find beauty in the world, it could very possibly be right next door. I think that is important for you and your viewers, to let people know that the whole word is amazing not just the places that are typically sought after for a special experience.

Yeah, I want to see Louis doing proper adventure. The American national parks, Norway (particularly Lofoten), Patagonia, Iceland, some of the Chinese national parks (Zhangjiajie’s Precipitous Pillars), rural Japan or parts of South Korea. Those are ideas of adventure going to Caribbean island to the see the "culture" is hardly that far removed from a luxury holiday and don't justify my suggestions as unattainable because of the lack of Internet, you survived in Cuba for a week without internet and so did all your viewers. I say all these things because I don't actually believe you could do them. You talk about fancy hotels and spas not being what you want to be all about but I don't believe you could live without them. Start off in the North West of Scotland with Steve and Ben or something.

If you're wanting to go to remote locations, you should come to Canada's north and meet some of our native population. Travel around Nunavut, for example. You could try dogsledding! LOUIS! Whats's up? My suggestion is that you select a list of 10 countries or places that you haven't visited before or know little about (if that's even possible since you've practically been everywhere) and then run a poll with your viewers for a week or so to find out which one we want you to go to most. Then I have 3 challenges that you must do while in the country or place chosen by us. 1 - Journey into the cultural side of the island and get away from all of the tourist places. Spend several days in that community or cultural hub and find inspiration in that through the people and your surroundings. 2 - Have a positive impact on that place; involve yourself in environmental works that help prevent effects of global warming or climate change or something similar to that. 3 - Show us why we need to visit that place, make us desire to go there next on our travel list ahead of anywhere else. This could be because of the people, the natural environment or because the things you can do there are EPIC! Hope you like the idea Louis :D

I know it sounds like a really bad idea but it would be really interesting if you were to go to a country that is currently at a state of unrest. Some examples could be North Korea, Ukraine/Russia, ferguson Missouri, etc. It would be cool to see a behind the scenes look at some of these places. You would obviously have to take extreme caution. In 50 years, students will likely be reading about these places In history textbooks so it would be cool for our generation to experience it while it is actually happening. In the past, though, cross country road trips have been my favorite vlogs.

Visit Switzerland. Please. Every Swiss canton is rich with fairytale landscapes and the people are wonderful. I know you might be having some trouble with the languages (German, French, Italian) but everyone knows English. It's a very, very very quiet land, you can wander EVERYWHERE! They've got little trails across forests, meadows, mountains and hills, and there is no way you will get lost! While wandering you can come across some little town, visit the market and buy some food or coffee, and what's cool about that some towns have historic parts which you can explore and see! I don't know if there are more words to build a sentence that will describe this land, you just NEED to go there and experience it! I assure you because I have been there quite a lot of times. Stay safe Louis!

My condolences on the loss your grandmother. Of course you should take time off. For travels I would recommend the Faroe Islands! The don't have the warm weather, that you prefer, actually the weather is pretty unpredictable. But the Islands are so beautiful, peaceful and raw. And only an hours flight away from London. Friday march 20th there is a full solar eclipse only on the Islands :)

There is a German KZbinr by the name of Unge who will be attempting a journey across the globe. He is planning to meet other KZbinrs from all around the world. Maybe you would be interested to join him for sometime.

The most amazing trip we took was to Antarctica. The scenery was out of this world and two, no three must do's is a POLAR PLUNGE, camping on the ice and visiting Port Lockroy run by the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust. If you can get to watch the documentary Penguin Post Office... do it! We travelled with Quark Expeditions and were excellent. Our next adventure is the Grand Canyon this summer...yay, can't wait...!!!

I think Louis is trying too hard to come across as deep...He keeps saying he wants to experience the real culture in the countries he visit and live with the locals etc etc ...But its all words and it always seems to be from one jacuzzi and spa at a luxurious resort to the next.... No problem with that because he's gets sponsored but maybe he should get rid off all this pretense and say it like it is... But another trip like the crazy, amazing Rickshaw Run he did in India would be good... All these sponsored trips comes across as sterile....

Definitely spend some time camping in the Amazon! Also the Kamchatka region of Russia and steppes of Mongolia! You could also easily go to Nunavut or the Northwest Territories, or to Kodiak Island and see some truly incredible bears.

Louis you need to go to Japan! It's so sick! Absolutely breath taking and sooo much to do and explore, so different to any place you'll ever see

Most of the trips you do, I would never in a million years be able to afford. What would be inspirational for me, is to watch you live the adventure by traveling on a lower budget. Staying places, journeying and doing things I could conceivably be able to do too!

Get some friends and drive thru South America. Go to Patagonia. I've even heard Nicaragua is beautiful and very few tourist know about it. Theres one comment I like about going hiking, explore different trails or find sustainable communities to stay with and learn from. I think going to some remote villages or small islands would be cool. Theres lots to learn in this world! Good luck and love to you Louis!

I know that for myself personally the most entertaining videos were when you were in India for the Rickshaw Run. They were just very cool and spontaneous! But of course it's your life and your channel so you do whatever and go wherever you would like. :)

Last summer I traveled around Croatia and when you mentioned you want something totally different, I immediately thought of this tiny town called Zadvarje. It's near Split, and when I visited there, I talked to some locals and some of them showed me this even smaller village just up the road, called Kvasinici or Kvasina, which had been abandoned for like 50 years. This would only be like an afternoons worth of stuff to see, but traveling around Croatia and Serbia and talking to the older locals and learning about the history and the wars would be pretty cool and I'd recommend it!

You could go to Svalbard in the fall... When it is cold enough you can take a trip into a glacier that can be several days long (or 4- 8 hours if you don't feel like doing several days in there). There are lot of opportunities to do stuff up there, and the nature is beautiful. Please consider it. It's awesome

Brazil-type trips would be amazing for both you and us! The trip you took to the rain forest where you lived with small communities, very basic living but still so so intriguing. It wasn't even a problem that you couldn't upload them daily!

It's always good traveling with your vlogs! I really really like something out of the normal "travel/holiday" kind of vlogs. Africa or the south of Asia or America are places that, for me, represent the real adventure. Going along the desert or living some days like the local people it's really beautiful and interesting to watch! And also you can share how it really is the life in different parts of the world. It doesn't has to be unsafe just different and unique.

Hi Louis, I've been watching your blogs for quite a while and have always found you v. upbeat and inspiring. Your family also seem fantastic, sending you my best wishes in light of your recent sad news. I think your blog has a really good mix of unusual locations and more regular holiday settings. It would be good to see you getting involved with some more community projects, like you've done in the past, and I think you'd get a great deal of satisfaction out of this kind of thing. Having said that, I get great inspiration for holidays from some of the places that you've travelled to lately, so keep up the good work! All the best for the future :)

Alright, for good, fun, different and adventurous places to visit I would either suggest something like Mongolia, Nepal or Kyrgyzstan. There are a lot of remote places there, however you would really be able to meet the locals and get to experience their lifestyle. I remember when you were in South Africa, where you really enjoyed horse riding. There are loads of horse riding treks to go on, where you ride for 1, 2 or 3 weeks crossing either the Andes in South America or the great plains in Central Asia. Something like that would be totally awesome, and is something, which is still on my bucket lists over things to do during my life ! :) For places with more sun, maybe consider French Polynesia or any of the small island groups in South Asia - there are loads of them! Anyways, I really hope you get around to reading this, if not to travel there then at least to get some inspiration. /Emily

You should go to Greece and see all the ancient wonders of it. Greece has rural areas that are small towns/villages barely explored by tourists and 2,000 islands that scatter the Mediterranean. Also: I think you should upload a video on food for Louis where you try a delicacy from each place you visit and provide some background information on it.

I have 2 ideas for you, Louis! Your trip with your sister gave me the idea of maybe having a contest, and taking a trip with a viewer? My second idea is visiting with some of the Natives of Alaska or, for something warmer, maybe the Yali people in Indonesia? The geography surrounding their area makes them fairly isolated. You wanted off the beaten path...

Definelty consider the Middle East! I know it gets a lot of bad press but there are some safe, beautiful countries. I would recommend Jordan!! The Dead Sea, Petra, Aqaba (camp in the desert) and the locals are lovely a real adventure! Lebanon is also beautiful and worth visiting. It would also be good to share these kind of countries with the world, show people what it's really like!
