Oh my goodness! It’s so hard to keep up with the house when you’re working on a project! I have been painting my kitchen cabinets and my house has been in a constant state of “there appears to have been a struggle” since I started it. I’ve even cleaned it and it’s still crazy! 🤦🏻‍♀️ having kiddos really doesn’t help! Lol so nice to see we aren’t alone in this! ❤️

I unload the dishwasher first thing in the morning while coffee is brewing- kind of mindless when I’m half asleep 😴 😂☕️. Then the washer is empty so I can put things directly in the washer all day so no pile up in the sink. I run the washer every night, even if its not 100% full, although it usually is. You did a big job cleaning up and it looks beautiful 😍 👍💐.

grl when we lived in our trailer I never had a dishwasher now we have our house we do and I really dont use it much unless I have alot from dinner cus I try to wash as I go so I don't have a bunch at one time .I think its just quicker and less time to was by hand .when I have them in dishwasher I for get about it and mine take like 45 mins thats alot of water

Crockpot liners are amazing. You just take the liner out of pot when done and toss in trash. No scrubbing needed. They have at 99 cent store.

Usually, I try to make the kids (13 and 11) do the dishes bc I also don’t like unloading the dishwasher (I hate my dishwasher. You generally have to precast the dishes on the bottom shelf otherwise they won’t get clean). But, sometimes, I like to be able to hang out in the kitchen with some KZbin or Netflix or something and get some ‘me’ time and clean up and do dishes. In our old house, we had a galley kitchen that was its own room in a way, so it was my alone time to be in there while the kiddos (when we moved in they were 2.5 and 6mo) were in the living room. Even though our kitchen in our new house is much more open, that feeling has carried over.

Great cleaning video! Parties are fun...and lots of work...before and afterwards! You table set looks amazing. It's strange to see plastic bags & garbage bags...they are banned here. Living on an Island...garbage, plastic, cans, etc. ends up in our soil...and drinking water and contaminates it. So we use recyclable bags (canvas or totes)...and have a strict recycling program for food, plastics, cans, household goods, etc. :)

I have the Hoover stick vacuum and it works great! The charger is very hit or miss sadly. I have to re attach the battery like 4 or 5 times sometimes before it starts charging 🙃

hey, karrie lately, at the beginning of your videos i’m hearing the struggle and that’s okay as we all have struggles of every day life, but your channel i watch as to get a break from struggles. it’s good to share our struggles but sometimes it’s nice just to put them on the shelf for a moment so we all can just breathe. my son was critically injured in afghanistan, third tour and i need to hear positive instead of negative at the moment. 🧸
