Brings back memories for me too, being young (in my early 30s), 2 small kids, a husband, a home to take care of. I enjoyed it all. But i do remember all that laundry, no dishwasher, no air conditioning and i sometimes thought to myself, " can i do this"?....lol, without going to the looney bin that is....hahaha. But , i made it and here i am, Grandma to 5. I still maintain my home, but i have to pause your video, run and clean my bathroom...sit back down, watch some more, pause, run and paint a baseboard, lol....sit down, pause...well you get the idea....anyway, im about halfway thru your video, have one more baseboard to do, and my bathroom is spruced up!! Thanks Karrie for the motivation for this ole lady...hahaha.

I loved that you reminded us that to clean you don't always need the most expensive tool. the newest cleaner or whatever! Sometimes all you need is some dawn and some elbow grease and that's it. It's a good reminder for me because sometimes I get sucked in thinking I need what everyone else seems to be using on youtube.

I remember the days whenever my kids were little and the laundry mountain was huge! For a while I had no dishwasher, worked full time, 3 kids, a husband, and it felt like all I ever did was clean the kitchen and do laundry. Now my youngest is the only one left at home. I like both the sped up videos and the slower ones. I like to watch the sped up videos when I need some motivation to go tackle something that I'm procrastinating on. I like to play the slower ones when I need to sit down and handle paperwork, bills, or plan our homeschool week.

Thank you for this Karrie! Every. Single. One. of these struggle chores are mine too. I have a problem getting down low to clean, so I never do the baseboards. I get my kids to do that chore I have balance issues from a brain aneurysm rupture 8 years ago. I do what I can. It can be overwhelming and frustrating.

I think you have a great sense for what works in your videos (mix of talking, music, speed up/down, etc.) which is one reason why they are so enjoyable to watch. You are such a genuine person and I love watching your energy while you clean! I got the motivation to tackle my kitchen and breakfast room cleaning while watching this. Plus got ideas for new products to try, like the honeysuckle Mrs. Meyer's. Also love that you love your dogs and enjoy seeing them in your videos. I have a dog and several cats in the house and they can bring in dirt but are so worth it! I have an O’Cedar mop too but rarely use it for floors. I have a shark steam mop I use on floors. I use the o’cedar one to clean walls though and omg, it does such a great job, and is so much easier, and I can reach to the ceiling so no step stool needed. I also use it for a quick cleaning for baseboards.

Love your show. Something that helps me with hard to get corners is a denture brush. It has a brush on one side that points up and easy to reach difficult corners

I kind like the best of both worlds fast/slow, but do find myself trying to move in the fast mode. Lol. Well back to laundry and mirrors. It’s a process today because I’m doing not only clothes, I’ve got curtains and furniture clothes. Everything, plus 27 mirrors, which I might get 11 cleaned, No not vain, place came with all of them and a fireplace and once my husband seen a place for his deer head, there was no talking him out of it.

I think with laundry, I do like a laundry chit chat, but it is nice that it's semi speed. And the voice over. I think that you are doing it just right for you. Like you say, do what works for you. It's funny because I've held on to clothes that don't fit, and now I'm fitting them. You never know and if they fit good and you feel good... Do it. Keep um.

Hi Karrie...I got rid of all my different mops and went back to my old squeeze mop. I found that with the O'cedar your mopping the dirty water back on the floor. You have a bucket of dirty water your mopping with. I know many love this mop. I love the foot pedal and the spin lol but that doesn't get the floor clean It should have a different compartment to keep the dirty water after you ring it. I'd love to get a patent on a new mop for us! Hope I don't sound silly but it would make sense.The house looked so clean and fresh when you got done.

If you get a hand heals steamer it works great for the track. I clean condos and we use them for the tracks the beds like wrinkles and window seals

I graduated in 1981 and Yes, I still have my favorite pair of jeans from high school. I will NEVER be a size 4 ever again, but I loved those jeans. They were Lees and I had them worn and ripped in just the right places. And yes, I struggle with house cleaning. I feel like I have more important things to do. Life is short. My mother always had an immaculate home. You could eat off the floor behind her washer and dryer. When she died, she left little of herself to us kids. She did not like crafts or sewing or anything tangible. I hope to leave my kids a lot of things from me that I made myself. I am a quilter and do a little arts and crafts. But I don't want the ting my kids say about me was "oh she kept an immaculate house" That is not what brings me happiness. But I am trying to do better in keeping the house clean and I am getting lots of tips from all you ladies. Thanks so much. And cleaning the shower is my nemisis.

Something I have found to help clean the window and door sash is a foam and a small paint brush it works wonders it puts it all in a pile then you can get up with vacuum 😀awesome video....

I hate mopping! But when I do I use a double bucket system. One for dirty water and one for clean. So the clean one has the cleaner in it. Use that first. Then rinse in the “dirty” one. Then into the clean one again.

So for me, if it’s a DIY, during the painting/staining a little speed up I don’t mind. But if I’m watching cleaning motivation I play it while I’m cleaning and folding laundry and I’m doing dishes so I like it LONG and I mean if I want to speed it up I can do it myself right lol. When it comes to my fav KZbinrs I look forward to the videos so I don’t want them to end 😆 being a sahm I enjoy watching people that are similar to me and REAL as you are.
