I do wish there was an option to turn the effect off though, just so it's easier to appreciate the weapon designs for what they are. Fortunately it isn't as bad as it was in B2 as far as the basic combos are concerned, where pretty much everything to do with Rodin was a purple mess.

The original owner of the weapon is from France. So it's not a surprise at all. She also uses the masquerade skill while fighting Bayonetta and she also said 1,2,3 in French. Definitely my favourite masquerade skill.

I find it intriguing that the Demon Masquerades to Alraune and Kraken are the most sexualized out of the other forms and special attacks. And with Viola, she did the same treatment as Sin Devil Trigger by committing seppuku and transforming into a Faerie(demonic subspecies btw) to finish the job. Hopefully Jeanne gets her chance with Demon Masquerade as a new video soon...

One thing I wished about this game is I wish they locked demon slave to weapon’s so you’d have to use the weapons attached to them to use the demons, but in turn that meant you get access to 3 weapons at once

They give you a pop-up tutorial when it first becomes available. If you aren't reading them then it's your fault you don't know how to do them. If you haven't reached the point where you can do it, play the game until you get to the end of chapter 3.

Anyone else kind of disappointed by the Rodin Masquerade Rage? Like the range on it is meh so it's easy to whiff with, the damage isn't even that great and the actual move is just oh I swing around some angel weapons telekenetically. Imagine if she actually gave in and used the Demon Masquerade for real (as a note, she's not, because you can see what's supposed to be the masquerade as her shadow, and she only manifests wings, because the weapon description says those who use Rodin's Demon masquerade may not be able to change back to human)

Not a fan, not a fan at all. The hair aesthetics are the defining trait of Bayonetta, but this game reduces them to the outfit (which all original alts do away with) and Bat Within (probably because they couldn't think of a way to change it, and it's not exactly a noticeable effect to begin with). Would it really be too much to make these transformations more Within-like?

To sum it up it means "Bayonetta (the game) looks like Bayonetta (the series)". Question: What aspects of B1 defined its aesthetic that are still largely present in B3? Expanding on the aesthetics would've been like what they did in B2, what B3 is doing is just replacing it.
