She thought she could bully mihoyo (at the time) using DEI talking points but they took none of her crap and told her is their way or the highway. So she had to significantly lower her only presence if she wants to keep her job

Right?! I mean I didn't have anything against any kind of her voice in eng ver, but I preffer the version from the begining of the game and current one. The original was kinda calm, and now we have a cute gremlin.

Cognosphere has her on blast. She has been on thin ice ever since she started berating customers on twitter regarding her political views. Hoyoverse reigned her in and told her is their way or the highway (nobody liked the way she portrays Paimon and she's the reason why more than half the community hates her), so now she is forced to play ball because the Chinese don't play around with stuff like that. So now she doesn't do whatever she wants anymore and so is the entire localization team. Constant errors, mistranslations and changing the scripts among other things. I am 100% Not lying when I say "thin ice". Due to constant pay cuts, the english localizers make the least out of all other localization teams. They thought they could bully hoyoverse like they do Capcom or square Enix but the Chinese do not care about their DEI all they care about is the USD.

I was absolutely shell shocked by Itto's performance and had no choice except to be 100% honest that he was the best, so it's cool to see the other outcomes here. I will say, the Itto option is absolutely worth it for "OOOooogh, TRAITOOOR! 👹"
