It was nice to see where he lived in actual order, and with the dates. You come to realize that he was transient for quite a bit of his young life. That without a doubt is why Graceland was priceless to him. It was his one true permanent home. Before Graceland, he was lucky to spend 6-9 months in one place. That had to be rough on a young mind, no stability. It certainly shaped the man he became in many ways. Graceland was not a pride issue, it was the sense of security above all else. A very special home indeed!

The house on Getwell if you get on kimball and head West their house was on the right hand corner. Those corners both side were houses there was a small store on left side of kimball. My Grandma lived across the ditch on Philsdale and she would walk to the corner of getwell/kimball and ride the bus shopping and Elvis Momma would be there waiting to Grandma said she was a very nice lady. Elvis use to chase my Aunt around but she wasnt interested in him. I remember when they picked that house up an put on a truck and hauled it North on getwell had to stop at every light and guys on the roof would have to raise the street lights took forever to get to Park ave Idk where they took it though. And me an friends use to ride all through Audubon and I recall music notes on the wrought iron fence how we always knew it was his I didnt see music notes on that fence, dk if it was replaced at some point and some other owner took the note fence.

On top of all those places, they had to live with different relatives after they lost their house in Tupelo, before they even moved to Memphis! No wonder even after he was famous and the rest of his life, anybody that came to Graceland he'd take them on a tour of the house and property. It's like he still couldn't believe how lucky he was to live in such a nice home, but even more important I think he was proud how far he'd come and felt blessed and proud. He was always thankful and that's where his generosity came from.

Thank you for your time consuming detective work and this excellent video, reminding us of the hardships and disruptions the family faced during Elvis's adolescent years. It is also wonderful to see the progression culminating in his dream home, Graceland, when he was just 22 years old. It reinforces just how great his achievement was.

Great one stop chronicle of all of Elvis's Memphis digs. The number of places the Presley's had to relocate to within such short time is a testimony to the hardship and struggles that poverty entails as tenants without property.

Love these videos - couple of addresses that I had never heard of before. Just seen on another site that Elvis purchased a 420 acre farm in December 74 for Vernon in Moscow, Tennessee and sold it 10 August 77 which was posted in February 2019.
