if you have burden of the divine equipped he gives you burden of the departed when you beat him

Let me clarify for people who are confused. If you want the hammer you must kill him when he is in a stunned state. Whenever you shoot and break his hammer he will kneel. (Stunned) For the gun. Kill him when he is standing up.

nah gun you gotta kill him when he has flames in his chest, so after he summons ads you dont kill the ads

@@cyriseye if the hammer was not in his hands yet when he stood up then you get the hammer still. If the hammer is back in his hands again when he is standing then you get the gun. So please try again.

Ring → Talk to Nimue, kill the king and back to talk Nimue Amulet → Talk to king, accept quest and go talk to Nimue and save her to get the vows, kill the king then back to talk Nimue Heart → Talk to king, accept quest and kill Nimue ==================== Melee weapon → hit hammer till you can't Range weapon → beat him to the ground ==================== That's all I got for now :D

You dont need to have any of those items equipped to get the club at all.

I didn't have any of that stuff equipped for melee weapon but maybe my host may have had the crown on.. I don't remember but we did attack the mace and got the melee weapon that way.

For people confused let me help clarify For the hammer- during the awakening king fight you break his hammer as it has a health bar For the gun- during the awakening fight you don’t touch the hammer at all

I believe you kill him when he is stunned you get his hammer Kill him normally and you get the long arm

Yeah you aint gotta wear that stuff to get the hammer you just gotta destroy the hammer its an alt kill

I can second this I got it without wearing anything special.

​@@srive720yep just literally blast the weapon apart over and over until he dies and you get the pommel to craft the hammer.

Are you sure the rewards are not flipped for killing the the king? Because i killed the king with regular gear and got the axe

So Nimue will give you two rewards in playthrough 1? One for changing your mind and one after killing the king? That's not clear to me😅

The true kings weapons u are incorrect. If u kill him while hes standing u get the rifle, if u kill him while hes stunned u get the melee, items u have equipped an if u destroy his weapon have nothing to do with it

You are VERY wrong about the king’s weapon drops; kill his weapon(it has an hp bar) to get the Wrathbringer. Kill him normally to get the gun.

My 2nd playthrough I told him I killed the Prince and it gave me the item for the melee. I did not have the items you said to equip

When I wore it ...all it did was make him rage and turn into the mad king...he was spamming AOE and swung his club a lot faster

how did you get "you shall pass" and "a foul feast" achievements?? I cannot find a solution to those

I just got A Foul Feast. First you need to roll an adventure that has the Great Hall as one of the side areas. This has the Feast event and the Feastmaster NPC you need to talk to. I'm not 100% sure if you need to find and talk to the Scribe in the Forlorn Coast first, but I think you do. He is the NPC hiding out in the sewers who tells you he is occupied and to leave him alone. Keep pestering him till he spills the beans. Now go find the Feastmaster and talk to him. He gives you a "tasty" snack as a gift to give his buddy the Scribe. Force the gift on the Scribe and you will unlock the trophy.

For the "true ending" trophy you have to find the Red Prince dungeon, kill the One True King, go back to the Red Prince with 3 coins and you'll find him next on the throne where you killed to King

Sole of this is not true. I spoke with Nimue before the king, and then agreed to kill her then changed my mind and ONLY got the amulet. I'm pretty sure u can only get one or the other.

Have to re-roll Losom and hope you get it. You only get one DLC straight play through.

You don't. I got it by finding the king first. I was wearing some of the ritualist gear and other random items and I got the club/axe thing. This guy seems very sure about what he's saying but it's wrong as far as I can tell

There you need the coin from the inside of the book you can find randomly in the world :)

@@scorpandi Thank you, I couldn't find it anywhere online. It grants a relic that's a full heal if there are at least 10 enemies to defeat. It can also be used for mod generation if you run a regen build.

If you look at the map in the palace of the true king there is a U shaped room upstairs and you can drop down there which leads to nimue
