“SmackDown versus RAW 2009” should've had a Road to WrestleMania” mode where you could play as JBL. You start on SmackDown, you get drafted to RAW and your final opponent is either The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship or whoever the WWE Champion is on RAW for the WWE Championship.

Edges ending is weird, I mean you're escaping the cage, maria opens the door for Kennedy, you have to press a series of buttons on time, and if you get it maria bashes Mr Kennedy's face with the door, and if you don't she allows him out to win like what was the point of that. This was the first WWE video game to NOT feature inter-gender matches anymore. They have a mixed-tag team match that replaces it, but men and women can no longer fight each other which in my opinion was the start of the WWE video game franchise going downhill for me all because Vince McMahon started to feel offended and a snowflake that he is! It's a damn video game. Yes, it also had to do with sponsorships and money as well. But still, it's just a video game! WWE went soft on the TV-14 stuff and it wasn't the same after that.
