I would argue for the inclusion of Edgar Aetheling and Lady Jane Grey. Both were proclaimed/elected. I suspect their omission is because they were not crowned, but neither were Edward V nor Edward VIII

i'm not sure about the others, but in the case of Lady Jane Grey: she herself did not claim to be queen, she was fully in support of the notion that Mary was the successor, and Jane Gray was just forced to be an unwanting figurehead for an attempted overthrow

She was never queen because she was never acclaimed by the leading rulers. She was forced into her coronation by her crazy power driven family. She was ousted pretty quick by Mary I who was the legitimate heir and in direct line for the throne

The original house was demolished and rebuilt. It is accurate to say George IV built the current palace, which has since been expanded and renovated many times.

She's not an actual Queen. Same reason for Empress Matilda. They were never fully crowned Queen. They were only proclaimed Queen. You have to see the difference. So they don't really count. That's why they're disputed.

I don't see lady jane gray as the first queen of england Or empress Matilda because they were never crowned queen. Mary I Is more considered to be the first Queen regnant Because she had an actual coronation. While empress Matilda was coming to her coronation the people ran her out So she was never really crowned Queen.

Anne was the last monarch of the Kingdom of England. Since 1707, there has not been a Kingdom of England, and hence, no Kings, nor Queens of England. There have been monarchs of Great Britain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the current one, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
