It is stated that SYSTEM and Level 6 are to seperate concepts since SYSTEM is defined as reaching beyond Level 6, as it was stated in OT. By all accounts Accelerator had acheaved SYSTEM in the Coronzon arc when he installed the Tree of Clonoth into the universe, therefore seperating him from God's Light (Ein Sof Ohr) which is the Tree of Sephiroth. He achieved SYSTEM when he crossed the Abyss of Sephiroth which allowed him to trancend the tree and enter God's territory (Ein Sof). Kanmachi actually interrepted the Abyss as the combination of all the Spheres, since it was stated by Qliphoth Puzzle 546 that ''they shall reach beyond Keter and into the realm of zeros'' which is Ein Sof. My guess is that Level 6 is a mile stone to achieve SYSTEM.

For anyone who still don’t know how Espers works Just do what I do and say they work by people being in their own little phase or layer of reality. It’s easier that way. It also easily explains magic by instead of doing blah blah blah. It’s just portals to other layers leading to your home layer.

It is... No. I will not make you read an unnecessarily long list of my discoveries and theories regarding Espers and Mages. Let's just say that (in my opinion) it's easiest to think of it as a church with stained glass instead of glass. The light falling through the stained glass (the image that is created) is "our" world, the stained glass is the phases and the outside world is the Pure World. Magicians change stained glass. Espers change the lighting. Both of these actions cause changes in the image that appears on the church floor. What do you think?

This kind of reminds me of the fixer ranking system from the project Moon games. Basically how it works is there are these people called fixers who solve problems in the city for a price and these people are ranked on their skills with 9 being the weakest and 1 being the strongest but there is also a special rank similar to level 6 in this series called color basically if a level one fixer does something legendary that shouldn't even be possible for a level 1 fixer they will become a colored fixer and given a cool title based on the color assigned to them. Also both settings have sci-fi technology which is one of the reasons why these two series remind me of each other.

What seperates level two’s from level ones is that they’ve developed enough to diverege from the more archetypical abilities yiu showcase at level 1. If you have an aerohand ability at level 1, you’ve probably developed it just enough at level 2 to either get a new less generic name for your ability, or for your own version of aerohand to have its own unique limits and rules to seperate it from a generic level 1 aerohand.

A very informative and enlightening video. It felt a like it had a little more serious tone to it compared to your other videos. You really got to feel bad for those people at the bottom of the classification list. Your whole life is worth nothing and you certainly can see how the line is drawn along with the way people are treated with the weaker Esper powers. Life can be hard enough as it is without that hitting you in the gut. You can always work hard and push through, but there is always a limit and a wall you are going to hit Without any help, you are dead in the water as they say. With millions of people and the genetics / mental acuity coming heavy into play it reminds me of genetics when it comes to health and fitness. There are some with naturally predisposition bodies that can be sculpted into the pinnacle of muscle build, growth and physique. Many people though on the average can work out all their life, like with Esper powers can work out as hard as they can, eat as healthy as possible, and give all they got and they will never look like few that are lucky enough to have dang good genetics. Many times I have had to tell a friend, not everyone can have a 6 or 8 pack and be built like a Adonis like they show on tv and movies. Genetics plays a heavy part in that. Sure you can get to a certain point, but there is a wall you will hit and you can only improve so much without genetics, and even drugs sometimes. Oh well, great video that made me think and apply personal life since I am a fitness junkie. When the video helps me relate on a personal level then that is a dang good video.

How isn't he anywhere near level 4 or 5 yet still scratches my head. Imagine breaker allows touma to basically negate whatever magic he can touch. And if his right arm gets severed, it can lead to it going to his full extent. The fact that touma can negate whatever he likes to, as long as it have a 'core', have sort of made me think that he's potentially somewhere alongside these higher levels. Heck, we might even see him unleashing it's full capability if he have his arm severed. Potentially leading to a sort of global catastrophic event. Until the time we see that in action, I'd say that he's somewhere higher then just being a level 0.

I mean, in the tv show, at least... The rating scale starts at 1. "Level zero" is a bucket for "we don't know how to measure these." If they made a way to classify them... They wouldn't be level zero anymore. Presumably, the eggheads are trying to come up with something. They just haven't succeeded.

@izzymosley1970 ok, there's this thing called the Parameter List. It's essentially a huge database that tells the board of directors how much potential an esper has. If the esper is shown to have high potential like Misaka, for example, the esper will be given all the resources possible to reach their full potential. That's why Misaka was able to become level 5. But if they have low potential like Saten, for example, then the esper won't get any help and will not be able to level up. So, no matter how hard Saten trains, she'll never grow past level 0 unless the Board of Directors allows it. Academy City is a lot more messed up than you think.

@@newtakn156 wow I'm glad there's ways to become powerful in this setting with out esper powers because I really don't like it when characters are given an objective limit to their potential. I like it much more when the characters actions dictate how powerful they become. I'm fine with some characters being more talented than otherwise as long as the other characters have a way to catch up. Unless the story wants to explore that idea of unfairness.

Probably an unnecessarily long explanation made with the help of google translator (I'm very sorry for any possible, very possible, mistakes). It's hard to say because we don't know for sure how strong the dragons are. We know that one Dragon is far too weak to defeat Mikoto in her 5.3 form. Although it does not mean that they are halfway to achieving the SYSTEM. This is simply my term created as a version of the Angel Level that the Magic Side has. It's a simple answer. Yes. Simple. There's actually one key factor that we know even less about (or at least I do, since I don't yet know what happened in the current LN volumes). When the Angel Dragon escaped from Touma, he clung to Shundan Kimi. A theoretical holistic Esper whose power was to create a black hole somewhere in the universe. We were told that the Dragon did this because he needed a "Source of Power", which for him was Shundan Kimi. When it was cut off from its power source, it weakened significantly to the point that a railgun shot easily took it out (...It's crazy that we would consider loosing to something that could erase a human from existence as...you know what I mean . I am Mikoto fan. Just ignore this one parenthesis.) However, we don't know if Dragon needed the power source because he escaped from Touma, or if he needs it "in" Touma too. If the latter, we don't know if Shundan Kimi was a better source of power than what powers the Dragons in Touma or not. We also don't know how much of the power source in Touma goes to a single Dragon if it's evenly distributed among all the Dragons in Touma (the ones we've seen don't have to be all of them). There are probably more factors I don't know or haven't thought about, but hopefully this is enough to give you a rough idea of ​​how strong the Dragons are. Ah. It's worth adding that we don't know if the Dragons in Touma were sealed there, raised there, or anything else. And if they were sealed/imprisoned, we don't know how much it weakened them. Summary. In a 1v1 fight, the current Accelerator would easily defeat the Dragon. Fortunately, I read your question again. Touma with Dragons (As I mentioned before, without the Dragon King. I will add the rest when I finally read the new volume.) He would easily reach the power of Level 5. Most likely even the power of Level 5.5. We know that with eight Dragons, Touma was able to defeat Mikoto at Level 5.3. Although it should be noted that A) She didn't try to stop them, and B) everything she did during her transformation was more like sleepwalking than fighting. However, this doesn't really mean much because Dragons are not part of the Science Side, at least not entirely (we don't know their history or what they really are.). And since Comparing the Magical and Scientific Sides is not easy and, most often, inaccurate... Although I must say that I came to this conclusion before the platinum wings, so it is a bit outdated. If Accelerator were allowed to enter Qlonoth again, he would likely be able to deflect this attack. Coming back. Even though the above mentioned could have happened, Accelerator would not have lost to the Dragons. Unless Dragons can eat the powers of Espers, which I doubt. And Teitoku, even though he can't beat Accelerator, is just as unfairly strong as him, so he probably wouldn't lose either. Mikoto with her AAA... Even though it's the Scientific equivalent of John's pen mode I'm not sure... It definitely wouldn't be an easy fight. It's probably my willingness to believe in my favorite female character and my desire for others to understand that for Mikoto fighting regular Mages is nothing difficult, contrary to what fans often assume when writing fanfiction (She would wipe the floor with Stil and he is one of the best Neceserius Mages. ). However, I think she would have a chance. Mugino... we don't know much about how her Meltdowner reacts with Magic, apart from the one time she effortlessly destroyed magically manipulated carbon in Dianoid. However, since one of Meldtawner's advantages is his terrifying destructive power (that's probably his only advantage outside of research), I think she could hurt Dragons with it. Maybe even seriously. Misaki... let's face it. Even in her berserk state (when her powers are out of control) she couldn't defeat the Dragons. Although if she could get into Touma's head and take control of him she could probably keep them in cheek. Unless one of the Dragons pushed her away with his power. There was one with telepathic abilities, I think. Etsu... I don't know what the author means by "Ideal Self", but I don't think #6 turns everyone into Level 6 Espers. I don't know how strong "Aihana Etsu" are, so I can't say. If each of them is close to Level 5, then sure. If the change to the "Ideal Self" has serious limitations (it can only do what is possible) then the chances drop dramatically. To take down even one Dragon he would need at least... 20 Level 4 Espers? 30? How many Level 4 Espers would it take to take down an average Level 5 Esper (forget about 5.5)? This is a question for another time and one that needs to be carefully considered. In any case, that's how many are needed to beat a "normal" Level 5 and more. As for Gunha... Mostly because we don’t even know if the dragons work by any laws Accelerator has filtered and since the dragons aren’t magical Qlipath wouldn’t be useful either. Plus the haxs and Abilities the dragons have even without dragon king. So accelerator winning is kinda questionable, plus we know because of recent volume that he can be beaten if you cut off the misaka network so that just makes it worse. The dragons would be the closet to level 6 if they were a esper ability

Trying to make sense of this gave me the biggest headache of the series. It's like trying to arrange people into 5 levels of happiness. Sure I can compare 2 people and probably figure out which one is happier, but arranging people into careful levels? I mean it's easier to just let the exposition take care of it. Railgun has two attempts in two arcs to achieve level 6 out of like 6 arcs in the manga, while in Index you only really have the sisters arc and thats it which is one volume out of 55. Its certaintly not repetitive going off stats.
