Its honestly kinda surreal on how basically 11 of the 13 are basically “dead” now(Su counts cause technically he did physically DIE, but his consciousness was taken into a higher dimension after his death). But I’m not sure if anyone else has ever wondered this aswell, but I’ve always wondered if there was any other Flame-Chasers who lived in the CE (other than Su, Kevin, and Hua) but then somehow also died in CE aswell? Also, cmiiw but I’m pretty sure it was mentioned that the speculated pioneers to come to the new era by Su were: Kevin(obviously) , Aponia , Eden(but it’s confirmed she died + passed down project EMBER to Hua) , and I think Kosma? (I’m not sure about him but if anyone knows the exact people he mentioned feel free to correct me).

Since there are 13 flamechasers who do you think are the 8 MANTIS fighting against the Final Herrscher and who do you think are the 2 who died during the battle? So far we only know Kevin and Hua and both of them survived. Other than Elysia and Sakura who died before the battle and Su stayed on earth

It’s telling the stories of the previous era heros known as The 13 Flame-Chasers to the people deemed worthy to enter. We know the prominent members of World Serpent like Raven and Jackal were able to enter but currently HoT Mei has entered the realm which is who we play as throughout the “story”.

@@zacxvii2011 1.They were the heros of the previous era, so how we have our Valkyries as the heros of the current era they were so of their own. As for what they do now, they just relay the history of the past to the people that enter the Elysian Realm. 2.Most of the 13 aren’t actually alive. The Elysian Realm creates simulations of those heros based off of a piece of their egos being placed within it prior to their deaths. 3. They seek the survival of the human race and we see how they differ in ideals where we have Kevin who says to destroy Honkai and Mobius who says to adapt to live with Honkai

their ranking have alot of factors being considered other than their respective strengths, it also inlcudes one's infulence for the whole which is why Eden is high ranked even though its kinda implied she doesnt fight and its also the reason why mobius' rank is very low
