A Complete Guide to Elysian Realm Lore - Full Story Recap | Honkai Impact 3rd

This is everything you need to know before playing Chapter 29.
Since it has been added to the game, Elysian Realm has gone through many changes and offered a great deal of content for the players. But, due to the fragmented nature of the story and the specific type of repetitive and RNG-reliant gameplay, progressing through everything this game mode has to offer can be a big hurdle for players. Learning about the stories of the new characters such as Elysia, Mobius, Aponia, Eden, or Kalpas, can prove a bit of a headache sometimes.
From version 5.7 onwards, the main story will shift the focus on the events that happened after the third chapter of Elysian Realm, in a brand new open-world called Elysian Everlasting, the purpose of this video is to give players a basic understanding of the main events of the Elysian Realm storyline that lead into the beginning of Chapter 29.
I wish to emphasize that this video will not go in-depth into the lore of the characters, and it's meant to be more like a simple timeline of the events that Mei has experienced on her journey. For those of you who wish to learn more about the characters, I will be posting future videos that will go in-depth about the lore of each flame chaser. Until then, I hope that this guide will help refresh your memories about what happened in ER and help you prepare for Chapter 29. Also, if you are someone that did not play ER for any reason, I hope this gives you a basic understanding of the events.

Some friendly feedback on my end: You might wanna change the title of the video, as it can be missleading since- and you said it yourself- the premise of the video is not to be detailed and complete as possible regarding the lore of ER, but rather a simplified "retracking" of the events that have happened in Elysian Realm. Perhaps removing the "Complete Guide" and leave the story recap, because certainly, that is what your video do. Nice video and new suscriber here! =)

Not at all. What I covered in this video is only the tip of the iceberg. If I would have gone into all the ER lore, this video would have been a couple hours long. This is just a condensed version of the necessary information that one might need in order to play Ch29.

Good video! In case you skipped er dialogues and are having difficulty revisiting the story, then this is a good summary. However, I still HIGHLY recommend reading the remembrance files as they make the characters a lot easier to understand

Please don't think that this is everything ER has to offer. As I said in the description, this video is more of a quick timeline of the events that Mei went though, and it doesn't go in-depth in any of the character's lore. ER has a ton more to offer besides the main story. I'm sorry that you did not enjoy it! But I just want to point out that ER has a lot more to offer in terms of story than what I present here.

Elysia's data was deleted by the Herrscher of Corruption. After that, they recreated her using Mei's memories and the data from the 4 crystal flowers she left behind and Eden. The fight between Mei and Elysia happens before the cinematic, not after, and it's not really a fight... more like a sparring session between friends. They never had any ill intent towards each other, just wanted to recreate the banquet that Elysia held 50k years ago. Fu Hua was born 50k years ago in the Previous Era. After the 3rd Honkai Eruption she lost her friends and family and was recruited to MOTH by PE Himeko. Later, she was one of the few survivors of the Tragedy of Binding and become one of the 13 Flamechasers with the rest of surviving MANTISes. After the final battle with HotE on the moon, Fu Hua went into a cryogenic pot and awoken a few thousands years later in the New Era, and eventually she got to met Kiana and the rest of the cast. I will make a Part 2 soon explaining the rest of the Elysian Realm stuff from the main story.

Gotta give it to someone that is able to simplify the nonsensical and overconvoluted shenanigans that the writers of Honkai pull out every once in a while with their (already overconvoluted and nonsesical) story.
