Your honesty about the challenges and learning curves in farming is so refreshing. From forgetting to turn on the PTO to tackling the finicky equipment, it’s a reminder that even seasoned farmers have their moments. Keep sharing these real-life experiences!

Andy looks clean and comfy loading that spreader with that enclosed cab loader tractor. We use an open cab backhoe. Needless to say no matter the wind direction you get it all over you and smell great at the end of the day.😂

That longer taproot would help in drought years, but on a normal year won't make much difference.

Good stuff Matt, like you wondering why the ripper isn't showing that much improvement. Will have to give it a few seasons to determine fully. Anyway, keep up the good work.

I hate to say this, Matt, but they need to make a green wrap with a bid yellow O for Oregon, but I live in Oregon. I do root for Tennessee sometimes

Or a roll of wrap that is a different color for every module that comes out like Oregon changes their uniforms weekly…

I ran all the wrap colors and I’ll say the blue wrap is the worst! I had several days of just problems with that wrap, that’s the only wrap I’ve seen the most ripped bales from. stay away from it if it’s windy. Be safe!

Where you had to dig out the cotton because it wasn't going into the baler part in the first cotton harvesting video..... Can you load that back into the baler manually or once you dig it out and it hits the ground there is no saving it??
@carlf829119 күн бұрын
What happens to the cotton on the ground is that considered waist or do you pick it up.
@griggsfarmsllc18 күн бұрын
It’s waste. There’s not enough value in it to spend the 1-2 hrs required to pick it up when I have thousands of pounds left to pick that is potentially losing value every day.
@scottmk519 күн бұрын
Can you drive through the pile of cotton on the ground and pick it up again?

No

Good afternoon Griggs family, I hope the cotton harvest is going good, man time has flown by this year. Have a safe and blessed weekend. TRUMP WON 🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼 Hey Matt do you have any video of them picking up the rolls of cotton? I would like to see how that’s done. Be safe and have a good weekend. I was just watching Farmhand Mike, and he was showing a cotton harvest video with a cotton stripper, my question is is there any difference between the cotton stripper and the cotton picker? Just curious. Happy Birthday young man I’ve got you by ten years.
