Two tips for keeping them straight: Direction: One *For* All is a power that serves others and is shared between people. All *For* One is a man who seizes what belongs to others due to selfish ambition. Rhyming theory: All For One can be abbreviated to AFO, which if pronounced phonetically sounds a little like "Awful", which is what a villain is. The former helped me, the latter I only thought up right now after the manga is complete 😅

​@@Ben_levine His focus was on the heroes, not the villains. Never thought about how his actions would impact the villains side, he only tried to send a message to the heroes. That's why he also never wanted to affiliate to any villains. There are lots of consequences that we don't expect to come from our actions, and that's a reccurent theme in mha(endeavours story if you're up to date with the anime is a good example of that, but also Nana Shimura's decision about her son that also had unreal consequences)

2:00 "woof" here is pronunced "wan" in japanese. You know those cute speaking manner imitating a cat? (usually those cat girls in anime) they add "nya" or "nyan" at the end of a sentence, meaning "meow". And this good boi just did that, in "wan". Tyusu already does it with the frog onomatopoeia "kero".

Prior to All Might's rise, Japan was rife with corruption and quirk abuse. Part of the reason they're so strict on the legality of things around quirks is because they've seen what the consequences could be. The inspector probably remembers a lot of it first-hand, if he's older than All Might.

I think you can compare hero license to gun ownership/carry licence. People are born with with quirks basically has a gun at their disposal at birth, regardless of if a situation demanded it or not, If you used a gun while not licensed, to stop a crime in progress, while the outcome is great, you still however still broke the law. The law is to keep everyone in check so they don't abuse their quirks, regardless if it was done for the right reason. I'm sure punishment given out will take into consideration extenuating circumstances, however it should still be an exception not the rule.

Yeah, Stain is a pretty layered character and now you're seeing more of why he's a necessary villain for the show. Mixing up One For All and All For One is gonna happen, it's kinda unavoidable. Outside of the drama, I think 'Good boy' said it in that way to initially put full emphasis on the fact that they shouldn't have done it, and if they don't bear it in mind for the future, they could really get in trouble, especially with more witnesses. The fact that they got an 'out' this time was an afterthought, and quite lucky.

Villains and Hero's are 2 faces of the same coin or so this show is painting, ever character has their own reason and motive to do what they do, so for the "My hero" section it would be better to add Villians as well. Mvp goes to the character that fulfilled their plan or who had the most influence "pushing the story" around the overall episode imo, but it's great love the reactions and glad you enjoying the series overall!

With his quirk, skill, and charisma, Stain could easily have been a top-ten hero. All he needed to do was complete his hero training and not dress like a dumpster ninja turtle and he could have been "Bloodstain: the Vampire Hero." He even would have been a perfect mentor for one of the characters introduced this episode. The ironic part is that he also would have sold a ton of merch to gothy teens and ended up being exactly the type of hero Stain loathes.

The police chief was the mvp for what he did for the boys. Without him covering up the story, they could have been punished severely for breaking the law and using their quirks.
