This series needs to be a TV show or web series NOW. If Nora is thinking about it or is open to it, it would be so popular! All I can ask is, "why hasn't it happened or at least been pitched yet?"

I honestly think it’s because most people outside of the fandom don’t take the series seriously. As much as we are all drawn into the series (mostly due to indulgence and the plots chaotic nature), it’s not actually the best writing. There’s a lot of plot holes, stereotypes, toxic depictions of mental health and minorities, and general inaccuracies. Even Nora herself said that it was just an indulgent series that she didn’t expect to take off. True, other “trash series” have gotten film adaptations, but I’m not sure that that’s what Nora intended for her work. But, at the same time, “trash” media is sort of the “in” thing these days, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it did get picked up, that is if Nora ever agreed to release the rights. Regardless, no hate to the fandom! I myself am interested in the series, even tho, as a writer, I know it’s pretty bad. I’m only human; I like reading bad fanfiction and the all for the game series sometimes haha.

And yeah, I agree about the writing, being a writer myself. One thing that stands out about it to me, though, is the way Nora writes the interactions between some of the characters. I don't think that's bad writing at all personally. My trashy traumatized heart still wants to see this happen, of course. Cause you're right, reading bad fanfiction and all for the game is my jam too! If I could "Love" your comment, I would.

There are some scenes in this series where I’m like “omg you really just had to hit me in my heart” (like consent scenes between Andrew and Neil 😭) and it’s genuinely genius the way Nora writes some of them. And I feel like we are all so traumatized that these books just hook us in and we just want more! Thanks for the reply :)
