I don’t think you understand the OBSESSION I have with this. It is scratching a deep itch in my brain that I can’t quite describe. I just have to keep rewatching because I’m in love with everything! Andrew’s pills being stars and his freckles transforming to stars when he is medicated and then the single star fading when he comes off them… ICONIC. I could go on and on about the use of color, Andrew’s painted nails, Bees earrings, and quite honestly the entire Baltimore sequence. There’s no shortage of things for me to love and I catch more upon each rewatch - thank you for this absolute masterpiece!

Where do I even begin omg Ok first off 0:33 I LOVE this frame the way Renees hair is orange and she is lit up, while the rest of the upperclassmen aren't and seem further away omg 0:38 I love the way you do the text omg, throughout the whole thing too this is just a really good example 0:49 holy fuck that art of andrew is gorgeous 1:29 the panic is shown so well here omg 1:32 this entire part is especially good, but this part? Where it ramps up and Andrew chokes Kevin? It's so well drawn and the fox in the background? Perfection. 1:35 and 1:38 I love the use of blue throughout this for andreil, and this part especially just AHHH I love it 1:43 rahhh I don't even have words anymore I just love it This whole thing was SO GOOD. I'm saving this, downloading this, and coming back to it like 100 times with all the other amazing aftg animatics I have saved lol

thank you so much!! it's a book series and although its been my favorite for a while, i highly reccomend you look at the trigger warnings for it as there is just about every single messed up shit you can think of in it 😅 people often mistake it for YA, but it's actually adult literature with some very heavy themes, some of them purposefully not well-handled... on the other hand it's also one of the most heartwarming found family stories, the silly parts are truly silly, the characters relationships will hit you like a truck, the main character is incredible, AND if youre a fan of slow burns with high payoffs then oh boy does this series deliver haha

i remember when i was younger having a flip phone that had a sort of chat interface for texts, if thats what you're referring to? they weren't anything fancy tho, just like text bubbles. there were some that only worked with the boxes, or even those really shitty ones that you had to start a new message with that contact every time you wanted to send a text and you'd run out of credit 😭

good thing you have an utena pfp bc this is like. yaoi utena. ok i jest hehehe so they *are* about sports, a made-up sport that is a lacrosse-hockey mix called exy, and they are also about a boy with so many issues. he has so many issues. and also like three different mafias are involved. its fun i promise and the doomed yaoi is rly good, although its super slow burn but again you have an utena pfp (taste) so! i do reccomend looking at the trigger warnings list bc theres a LOT of heavy themes, though.
