I used to feel that same way, but eventually realized a judge/coach has to hear talent that they themselves can teach. I recently saw an amazing rapper and only two turned, not because he wasn't amazing, but because the other two wouldn't have been able to do justice in coaching, training and helping improve that kind of singer. Sometimes the judges/coaches don't turn because their own limitations, not because of the singer's talent.

I hate it when no one turns around and the person is not only attractive and has a great unique voice, they also know how to actually play an instrument, but still no one turns. Even after what you were saying all the oos and ahhs, but then they'll all turn for the next person who, don't get me wrong can sing good, but brings nothing unique, just sounds like everyone else and doesn't even play an instrument. Yet they let the real talent just walk out without Jack. I sometimes feel like the men and women should be separated because of this reason. I feel like the expectations are off, they'll like a smooth simple voice from a woman, but men have to have something that makes then standout and I don't think it's fair, especially during the beginning of the season.

I am so mad at those people that went "Go Aidan" and then cheered after finding out Sally was the one to leave the competition. You can really see the pain in her eyes, she already had self-doubt and you CHEERED her being eliminated. No matter how much you support Aidan, you dont cheer the competition's worst moments.

She’s great and I think Joe did a great job, but I have to say I hate that “a good singer needs to hit high notes” that’s bullshit. A good singer can connect to the song and do a beautiful job, voice range doesn’t matter that much. Some people simply have a soft voice and it sounds weird when they hit high notes, even if they can do it that doesn’t mean they should do it Edit: just to clarify, I didn’t mean to say it is stupid for people to believe that good singer hit high notes, but it’s stupid to force someone to hit high notes that will strain their voice and possibly cause damage just because they think you HAVE to hit high notes to be a good singer Edit 2: as a music major and a singer, I can tell she wasn’t doing the high notes properly. Some voices just aren’t fit for hitting high notes, doesn’t make her worse than anyone else on the show

I’m so heartbroken, I really was rooting for her. They made a mistake. Her vocals were phenomenal, she sang that Bowie song with passion. Every performance I felt, just wish she had more confidence in herself. Hope she keeps coming back. She deserves to win. SN: I said what I said.
