Unrelated question to Rumey: Does it make sense to keep the second Z52 and build her even if I lack on UR bullins?

I did that with Laffey II and haven't used her once :P Might still keep the extra Z52 though. Why? I have no idea 😅

From what videos on yt review her kit she’s a very good jack of all trades very good at those things kinda build so I’d say having 2 so that u can diverse your fleets could work just that one z52 is where u will invest more resources and then work on getting those UR tickets for the gear shop so as to buy a UR upgrade at a more calmer pace as her tier 1 limit break increases her torpedo output skill

Any suggestion for her fleet? I sadly missed out on amagi 2. I jusr came back and the last event i did was the soyuz event

Her forte is anti medium/light armor, preferably you put her with YKTN II+Kearsarge. She can still do dmg against heavy but being able to equip 8 fighters might as well put her on medium/light specialist fleet since you can slap 2 La-9s on her, 2 HVARS, or 2 BF109. Amagi+Shinano+Implacable is already a solid anti heavy CV fleet that deals the highest dmg against heavy in game atm

Do you have Admiral Nakhimov? She, along with Soyuz, likely make up Fritz’s best team. Fritz is beats out the Yorktown II/Kearsarge team, she’s the best standalone ship for medium/light armor and she’s top 5 against heavy. However, Fritz appears to be bugged because testers have been unable to reach her damage potential. We may have to wait and hope Manjuu does a bug fix like they did for Mog.

Hey, I'm a bit newer to the game and am still trying to learn a lot about building. What is the biggest benefit of running 2 fighter planes on her as opposed to 1 fighter and 1 torpedo bomber? Is there ever a reason to run a different combo?

She can run 8 fighter planes with 140% efficiency. And the fighter planes he specifically mentioned are rocket fighters. Unlike regular fighters that can intercept and send smaller bombs compared to dive bombers, Rocket fighters sends highly accurate rockets that can shred medium/light armors, but they cannot intercept enemy aircrafts. Rumey's kit is built for Anti medium/light armor warfare and a bit of a generalist depending on what you need. You can still run regular fighter+torpedo/dive bomber on her, but her dmg won't be that high. Her peak dmg against heavy was around 300k ish from a showcase I saw compared to the IJN UR nukers where their lowest dmg is around 350k and peaks at 500k+ with that fact in mind, might as well kit her specifically for anti medium/light by equipping rocket planes on her. Even her plane barrage sends extra rocket planes with 110%/140%/80%(i forgot if it's 80% or 70% modifier against heavy) modifier. She's still strong if she's your first UR CV, until you got yourself Shinano, Hakuryuu, Implacable, Amagi CV, or Nakhimov, Rumey is a solid beginner friendly UR CV. Other UR CVs needs a lot of resources and certain gears in order to make them really shine(like the trio IJN nuker CVs needs at least 2 of them in the same team and 2 UR dive bomber a.k.a the Tenrais to deal high nuke), while rumey you can slap anything that's available early on and she can fend herself with her ghost CA gun and CL gun equipped. A solid solo CV

That HVAR mounted hellcat is only available during YKTN II event. Dw tho, her rerun is supposed to be next so when that event comes, farm the hell out of that map as much as you can, at least get 6 of em
