Oh a game I’ve played a ton of!! In my last campaign, we had the whole variety of characters. Summoner, chi martial artist, weapon master, psychic, etc. I played fight man. I just wanted to wield a big sword. Every level I boosted constitution or strength when I got a chance. I wanted to be tough and use a fuck huge sword. Constitution and strength increased size. I maxed out the human size quickly, then took the inhuman abilities and just kept growing. By the end of the campaign I had to take gnosis abilities to SHRINK just so I could fit in buildings. I was able to duel wield two giant sized two handed great swords. It was absolutely busted. So much fun.

This was the first TTRPG I played for more than a few sessions. The prefab module they have as your starting adventure was excellent to the point where many of my adventures in other systems I run keep coming back to it for inspiration over a decade later. Been tempted to make a BRP conversion of it (mostly because WHY would you use D100s not as percentiles but as Really Big D20s)

WHY? Just Rolemaster things. (And I think Mythras might work well, especially if you mash everything together from Classic Fantasy to Destined)

i recommend d100 for travel rolls not for skill rolls because if your character is good at something let them be good at it, in travel there is unknown element.

Played the minis game a few times using borrowed figs from a guy trying to get other people to buy into it. Didn't work and I never had a feel for the lore/setting, and this vid's the sum total of my experience with the RPG. Minis game reminded me a little bit of Malifaux, in the sense of being a small skirmish game full of strange characters that were probably much cooler if you were invested in the setting.

Again, technically wrong about the races, Nephilim AREN'T a race, is just a Human with the soul of another race, there are about 9 or 10 races (One for each type of Nephilim) plus human but you don't find them through the character creation section but near the bestiary one as Anima took inspiration from 3.5 dnd in which monsters can be playable but with a level adjustment.
