I really wish we had more options in terms of customization. Being able to engrave words and phrases and choose from different fonts (fancy, scratched, etc.) would’ve been awesome. Calloway’s Schofield revolver and Micah’s DARs instantly come to mind. As far as the engravings available for the guns in the game, I don’t even use them. They almost ruin the way the gun looks imo. Having more options for carvings would’ve been nice too. Oh, and more color options for engravings, carvings and grips. Would’ve been great being able to upgrade the looks of our bow and our weapons equipment too. I love Sean’s color combo. Kieran’s is the same but with ivory grips. I use their colors for my cattleman’s in their honor. Black barrel, black chamber, silver frame.

Same. Wish we could've used for the grips like John's and Hosea's Revolver have. And Javier's offers a glimpse into what could've possible. I do like the engravings we have, but I only used them sparingly.

Yeah I wish we got a little bit more paper doll sim type stuff. Why can’t I change how my mask looks, buy cool all black holsters, engrave both sides of the gun and not just one side. The Lancaster engraving is hidden under the bottom of the gun and you can’t even see it. It’s sad how little customization is actually in the game.

If im not mistaken Arthur lost all his guns after Blackwater , which is why you start the game with what appears to be a random Cattleman he probably just looted off someone or took from the gang’s weapons crate. Arthur is a very simple guy anyway so I doubt he would’ve had flashy guns like Javier or Dutch.

Not complaining but when you take close up images of smaller things like guns and knives turn down the blur sensitivity all the way for maximum detail. You can see engravings and smaller details better.

On a double action, not pulling the hammer back means more force to put on the trigger. This makes the weapon slower in rapid fire use but above all makes the weapon unstable and therefore less precise the time the finger cocks the hammer. It's a bit like having to control a recoil before even firing the bullet. You tense your muscles the time the hammer recoils which can make you shake and deviate (the force of the finger unbalancing the grip on the handle) while when the hammer is released, it can also surprise you and deviate the trajectory even more. It's exactly the same situation between using a bow and a crossbow. The timing is also different. When the hammer is already cocked, the shot goes off instantly. When you have to cock it yourself, there is a timing to take into account before the shot goes off which requires a lot of practice and training to find the right one. In reality, double action is only useful in emergencies. When you need to shoot quickly without having to aim too much. You often see them shooting blindly like this from behind cover. Modern revolvers suffer from the same problems when used in double action.

Javier's gun is a Double Action, not a Cattleman. Hosea's gun is not customized, neither is Bill's. But Micah's set of Double Actions are heavily customized. In contrast to Charles's basic sawn-off. As basic as Lenny's, Arthur's or John's Cattleman, in fact. Impressingly many errors in such a short video.
