Very good video lads fair play. Its a disgrace what is going on in this country.... We have the same craic in the Woodcock/Pheasant counts. 75% in the last 30 years the pheasant numbers have dropped. All the land being reclaimed for productivity. There isn't a ditch left in the country. Hunting be gone in the next 10 years period. We had the best of everything in this country. Any pikers out there w.ld also say they killed of the huge lough Derg pike when they decimated the runs of salmon through this great lake .Remember what Fred Buller regarded as the world record pike taken from lough Derg 92lb .not much chance of any Pike reaching its full potential now in Ireland .lough Conn also produced huge pike .b.fore the knuckle heads decided they knew better than mother nature

Remember when the pass was open and the flow as you said Neil was middle and pass side of the dam.. Sad to see the way they have it closed and unused do they think salmon have wing's. This is an atrocity to think that salmon have been running the Shannon river since millenia before these clowns built a concrete monstrosity to impede them and take away angler's sport to which goes back hundreds of year's is sad
