Klassic shang tsung is def S tier character. He has everything you could want from a charcter. You only need a couple pieces of gear to make any klassic team with him in it god like.

Im new to the game and got klassic scorpion smoke and shang what equipment do I need for them?

@mos._tavren You want power generation and block break on scorp, Smoke signature equipment with block break on smoke and 50%off on sp2 on shang. Starting power on shang is also very good but not required. Same with power gen on smoke.

Great tier list, Mand. Agree 100%. Have you tried a team with Klassic Smoke, Klassic Scorpion, and Klassic Shang Tsang? It's really fun watching Shang Tsang dealing extra damage and healing Smoke and Scorpion while they spam SP1. 🙂

Absolutely agree! He carried my account single-handedly in the beginning. Tag him in - super fast combo and increased damage - chain SP2 and boom🔥

Good ranking with solid arguments. It's interesting to see that certain characters are shifting around in the tier list, even though they've been in the game for ages. Just proves to show that there's a lot to be learnt and discovered in the game even for veteran level players.

I think classic Kano is S tier. He stuns on basic attacks and his sp1 is pretty much unblockable with stun. He can even do this at f0. Lizard baraka is A+ and not S because he's trash at low fusion. He needs to be at least f5 to do damage

I don’t think it makes him change tiers but Dark lord kotal khan also summons a fighter for him on special 2 twice per battle which can really help beginners in survival mode or boss fightd basically get a free character to do damage and not have the team take any

Klassic kano is useless nowdays because everyone can get very high debuff resistance so his passive won't help

I would pump Klassic Shang Tsung to S tier. He is both a good support and carry(higher fusions) in Klassic teams. Has great survivability due to passive and sp1 and flexibility due to his sp2.

i used Bo Rai Cho so much because i can fart on the enemy and also drains their inactive hp slowly. i think that's the funniest character 😂

Thanks for the tier list! It's helped me on deciding which Golds I should level up and open packs for. Though an unfortunate realization came to mind: Per usual, NRS misses the ripe opportunity to put in Injustice 2 Sub-Zero and give us an Injustice team. I wouldn't care how gimmicky it'd be 🤣

It depends how you rate cards with or without gear, in fights against bosses or simple teams, in survival and Krypt or towers, fussion 0 or X. Some of them can be insane with proper gear or in certain situation. I have to agree with most of yours S tier because those are most versatile cards in every mode. I would put klassic millena higher.

Kosplay jaqui would be S if she is a better fighter since her scorpion special 2 does damage to an entire team, and the fire is secondary

exactly her basic attacks feels a little bit slow,i started replaying this game again in like the last month and i got an pretty decent team using her at fusion 3 she does the job most of the time ,i love using the scorpion special,reptile one for the 2special and the purple one to do more damage vs outworld characters

@@MANDMK You said she does nothing at F0 and I pointed out the fact that she does something significant at F0. I'm not sure a lot of characters do a lot at F0. So, that argument against Klassic Sonya is not very valid. Not many gold characters are know for being DOT dealers.

I’m shocked that Klassic Mileena is that low considering that she heals female teammates when she defeats an opponent. I’m basically unstoppable in the Krypt w her on the team bc you minimally have to use any recovery equipment

i don't agree with tracherous tanya, 'cause i won an entire crypt along with DOTD kitana (for regen on kill)... she did all, i gave her vial of infinite blood, so unblockable basics, her SP2 has power end deals a lot of damage, SP1 for increased crits, i think she deserves an higher tier, but i agree pretty much with all the tier list, love you mand

There is a counter. Black dragon team counter them like crazy. The only problem is, they don't have dots, power drain, or shield. But they have sanre and cripple. Day of the dead team is the second option against Assasin jade.
