ALL GOLDEN CROWBAR LOCATIONS (Left 4 Dead 2 Golden Freeman Achievement)

A video showing all 22 locations for the golden crowbars in the L4D1 survival maps. Getting all of these will grant you the "Golden Freeman" achievement new to The Last Stand Update.

I'm getting a LOT of comments saying people are picking up the crowbars but making NO progress towards the achievement. HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT: Firstly, make sure you are playing survival and NOT campaign. Then, make sure you're playing these in single player mode (I do NOT mean campaign, I mean single player survival). Pick up the crowbar, start the round, kill some zombies and die. Doing this should track progress.

I just got the achievement! Thank you very much for pointing out the locations, I would never find them otherwise. Following are a couple of things I've observed: - I can only do it on Survival game mode, hosted on a Local Server; - Once the crowbar is obtained, I did not need to start the Survival event in order for it to count toward the achievement. - It takes up to several minutes for Steam to register any progress on the achievement, ... - ... BUT, immediately as you gain the last crowbar, it will notify you in the chatbox that you've got it.

There's an easier way at 4:55 there's those two power gauges that you can jump on and you can jump on to the scaffolding to get that golden crowbar

On 'The Port' - people already mentioned you can jump on the Gas gauges on the wall, then turn and jump up onto the scaffolding. It can still be hard to grab the crowbar. It's high up, and feels far away. Make sure you're on the right side when you jump up. I think I was running up from the left, or center at first. Somehow it finally registered that I got it when I moved slightly to the right when I jumped up to where the walls meet. It's a little touchy.

Great video, thanks mate! However to anyone who is not able to complete the achievement I found a workaround on reddit, apparently you have to host a local game for it to count, one of the guys I played with also said when he hosted singleplayer survival it counted. you need to pick it up start the round, kill some zombies and die. hope it works

It doesn't count progress for me. It worked once, i picked up the crowbar and bill said "awesome" probably something attached to it actually counting but it only happend once.

i was doing it with my friend, and we were both making progress on the Golden Freeman achievement. One of us would pick up the crowbar, then vote for the next map in line. And all we had to do was just pick up the golden crowbar, and then vote for the next map, and so on. Not sure why people are saying you can only do it in single-player mode and you have to start the round and all that.

PSA: you do not have to die in the round to complete this. Just grab crowbar and vote to change if you want to do it fast.
