Powerful beautiful rendering of a truly great Easter hymn. Over sixty years ago my father a choir master in a town in Ireland introduced this hymn into Christmas Eve midnight mass. He first consulted with the then Parish Priest before he proceeded and got the ok. It is still sung at every Christmas Eve mass and it never fails to move.
