I think they can split TVL into 2 seasons. There will be flashbacks to the 1700’s and present day rockstar shenanigans. Plenty of material to work with. I am also really excited to see how Daniel and Lestat get along. They both were made vampires against their will. Both abandoned by their maker. I mean, they can bitch on endlessly about Louis and Armand. It has lots of promise.

I'm really glad they didn't go with 2024 top 100 sound for rockstar Lestat. One because when things are too "of the moment" they don't tend to age well. Two because Lestat is supposed to stand out. Plus, he's also been locked away in a decaying house eating rats for decades so he's not really up with the times loll

Marius De Romanus, survives into later books I think. Magnus, Lestat's maker killed him self a few nights after making Lestat leaving him with a fortune for the Era and Lestat grew it into a number of accounts for playing around money.

Lestat wouldn't make music that was 'on top of the charts' that wouldn't be his vibe. He'd be the guy who casually goes viral and just sticks with his own vibe or just switches up his vibe completely just to fuck with his 'fans'. I feel like, it was a boon to have the first book split into 2 Seasons and it would only make sense to repeat the formula. Like, I cannot handle Sam Reid's Lestat in eight short episodes - I would implode like an Austin Powers fem-bot - could it be too much, or rushed? To be fair, Louis got 15 episodes, even with wifey Armand's mindbending meddling. Lestat is sumptuous. His story is sumptuous. To do TVL true justice - and I defer to Rollins' and the team at AMC's genius here - I want a slow burn, but what do I know? Everything thus far is AMAZING - I have complete confidence in the storytelling. I can count on one hand how many times I have felt this completely satisfied. To quote Monica Chandler Bing from "Friends", AMC's IWTV, it's "Seven! Seven! Seven!" with you! I am happy to wait for more!
