I'll be going druid and i kind of like the way they're going with it. You either can go caster resto or a melee dps resto. If you want more raw healing, then you'd go keeper and if you want more damage you'd go wild.

I've been in love with Mistweaver Monk since I tried it in the Sepulcher tier of Shadowlands. I think the fistweaving gameplay with Teachings and Rising Mist is a blast. I really wish we could get a melee version of Holy Paladin that had a similar playstyle like we had in Shadowlands. I don't want the melee style to be the only option, but I found it a lot of fun with the boots legendary and the additional crusader strike charge that reduces the cooldown of Holy Shock. I find standing in melee, healing my allies with Consecrate and Holy Shock while smashing the boss with my hammer both fun and very cleric-esque fantasy.

Consider this: If you are playing with a melee group - Pally, Warrior, Rogue... then Pres Evoker is FANTASTICALLY FUN! Not so much fun with ranged that won't play close or in range of heals - I just don't take that responsibility on - I will say once in PUG, stack close to tank if you want heals. Otherwise I LOVE my druid. I finally made a MW Monk in Remix - but it's hard to say how I am doing because everyone has weird self-heals that out heal me and everything gets one shotted.

Ive been a Resto Shaman since TBC. Its my favorite healer, so I am really looking forward to playing around with both Farseer and Totemic. I wanted to lean more into Farseer, but Totemic sounds really good to me too. Im also definitely looking forward to playing Preservation!

I only recently started retail, and haven't done any M+ since BfA. But after picking up mistweaver I truly am having a blast in M+. I'm happy to see the button bloat drop a bit because zen pulse and essence font were never pressed by me just due to the sheer number of buttons available.

I really like how druid can pick between melee or ranged dps while healing. Even if one is better it doesn't even matter because healer dps isn't the deciding factor between a key bricking.

Sticking with Resto Druid and leaning towards Pres Evoker for my alt. I think Keeper of the Grove will be less punishing with pugs although I hope to play Wildstalker as much as possible. Love the kittyweaving like you do, Mad!

This is a PvP perspective but god I hope they never change the range on preservation evoker, it's such a core part of how you play them and how you have to think about your positioning more than any other healer and it's just be such a boring change when it's a big part of what makes them different to other healers rn.

Blizzard should add talents that modify the range or the cone of abilities that are range dependent.

For void weaver disc priest, there needs to be something that will change gameplay. It looks amazing but there is too much focus on smiting. Mind blast to activate and penance to beef it up. We're going to Mind Blast and Penance on CD anyway. SW: Death also seems to remain something you want to cast on CD but not prioritise over Penance in the window. It could helpful with the shield on the last boss of Necrotic Wake but I wouldn't change anything around to count on it. For oracle disc priest, since you'll need to bank both Insight and Piety and dump Solace, it seems like a more toxic form of Blessing of Seasons because Seasons you could give to other people, Premonition you have to use on yourself for the first 2 but can give away the one you don't want anyway. With Solace, it's a weak third charge of Pain Supp + PW: Shield that you must get rid of in 60 seconds. The CD this will be 3 minutes with perfect on CD usage. If you have double pain supp, each of those charges is twice as strong and charges faster than 3 minutes. Effectively, since banking double charges is 3 minutes if every cast is perfect, so every other evangelism is empowered. If for whatever reason, you're off rhythm, you have to take the 15 second reduction which means more holding. That to me, makes the reliance on raid CDs worse and the raid CD tetris minigame worse. At least with Rapture ramps and Evangelism ramps, they are the same CD so you could keep them separate for more. With Premonition, you have to choose one ramp or the other to align with.

Great video and I 100% agree. Preservation Evoker feels good and Holy Paladin needs tuning but feels like it’s fun with tons of potential. Totemic shaman is for sure the better and Farseer needs help.

I can't wait to see how melee MW will perform in raids, especially with the hybrid build where you play mainly the melee abilities, but keep yu'lon for your ramp. Without clouded focus I feel this will be a lot more viable, that is assuming chi-ji isn't viable as well

People need to chill when it comes to resto healing through dmg, the only thing Blizz wanted to achieve with that is to make sure u dont have these awkward moments where u hit HoW into kitty only for some goober to get hit by random shit, forcing you to shift out of it again.

Can you provide your entire UI. I want to reduce the amount of addons I use. Last xpac I couldn't progress much because I had like 30fps and massive frame drops on Mythic Smolderon.

I had to turn down my graphics settings a lot and lower the brightness as well as close all background apps to get good performance on smolderon.

They were like 30%-15% below all other healers for 2 seasons with no attempts to balance the spec. I have little hope left for the spec

The spec was the only S++ healer due to an insane overtuned and at the same time deeply flawed rework, and was nerfed into the ground like 6 weeks after. Meanwhile other OP healers like Prevoker in S1, MW in S3 , RDruid in both S1, S3 and S4 recieved received fair tuning for the most part, or classes like VDH, Aug, Fire mage and SP dominanted half of DF with no nerfs, but Hpal was just gutted and left broken for half of the expansion. Not even exaggerating.

Great video. Personally I am planning to go with Pres Evoker, potentially Chronowarden, seems more fun. However there is still hope they finally fix HPala and I can play him. Got burned out from Mistweaver monk in season 3, Druid I hate with passion and priest is not so interesting.

I'm leaning Resto Shaman(pending changes) or Disc Priest. I like Disc's playstyle a lot, so even if the hero trees don't change the gameplay dramatically, I know I'll still have fun. I really like Resto Shaman, especially the utility and how much stuff I can do besides healing to help the group, but I need to see some changes to both the hero trees and the core class itself.

Oracle for priests, both disc and holy, might be very good (I dare to say even OP) in raid environment due to the overhealing redistribution, if used at the right moment, ofc. I do not see it being used in M+, though, where Voidweaver and Archon have more appealing traits.

i prefer kitty weaving to grove guardians anyways. i will say however, that i am tired of the constant hpal gaslighting. it's my alt healer, but my personal best performing healer. i just prefer mistweaver. idk what to say about mythic fyrakk (didn't get there season 3) or MDI level healing, but as someone who can hit 3k io, i have no issue with hpal. it's healing profile is still instant cast, burst, emergency healing. plus some of the best externals in the game. it's just an insane healer. people constantly gaslighting blizz into giving paladin a 4th or 5th rework when other classes need more attention is just too much. i've been a MW main as far as healers go since the class was released, but hpal is always my #2. in addition, until season 2 of dragonflight, MW was a 30 yrd healer. always has been. people acting like prevoker being a 30 yrd healer being impossible to play around is also insanely hyperbolic. the throughput this class has with it's hero talent trees is just insane. the flameshaper tree has a chain reaction effect where you dream breath > echo > use your hero ability that can 30yrd from your 30yrd so it's technically a 60yrd ability in the way it can daisy chain. it's a technical healer and yes i agree it's annoying to solo Q the class in M+, but the flameshaper tree really fixes that imho. i think going into TWW season 1 the class balance is THE BEST it's EVER been for a 1st season in any expansion to date. i'd love for someone to disprove that statement.

Hi. I just came back to wow, after playing in pandaria. I used to play most healer classes. And have been in 2 top 30 guilds back in the day. Thing that is throwing me off. Is all this take about dps’ing as an healer. Leveld evoker and mistwever to max. And I like booth. But I feel staraight away. That am missing caster healing. And planing healing cd. Feel it was more intense before. Love healing, but don’t know if I am ready to focus on DPS as an healer.

I use it all the time. Right before a boss does his group wide dmg in mplus. The same way a resto druid would pre hot. Then I get get double master procs from it. It also reduces the cooldown of my thunder focus tea. U can say I'm bad all you want but it works for me. Ive plsyed mw since legion and have never followed any guides. Ive alway built it and plsyed it my way and stacked the stats i wanted. There is no right or bad way to play a healer. As long as you keep players alive then your doing it right.

I absolutely love the Holy paladin design in war within beta, but the mana is a HUGE issue for paladin. I run out of mana all the time even when using efficient healing spells like avenging wrath and beacon of virtue, mana bar just runs dry in a couple of pulls and theres no mana water on the beta right now. I even tried leveling up cooking to 100 but you cant even cook mana food. The food you get in the bags regens 375k over 20 seconds and we have a mana pool that is 2.7 million LOL. The only way to get mana is to spec into daybreak and blessing of winter, but thats just 2 extra buttons that i dont want and theres no other options for mana which is extremely frustrating. The 0.5% mana back on Judgement is abyssmal and having 0.5% back on Holy Light is a joke because the spell costs a fortune to cast. And the natural mana regen is non-existant, it takes MINUTES of AFK to recover a mana bar passively. They have to do something about this or Holy pala will just be dead on arrival regardless of how fun it is, because you will just be a liability to your group on mythic+ and raids

May be a bug but on my evoker I was able to dream breath, temporal anomaly, and engulf. It exploded all of my dream breaths and cleaned the entire group healing for millions. Could be good to top off an entire party quickly.

Before the beta I was worried that Oracle would be a pain because of the extra button and Voidweaver would be my default option. But now I find the Hero Talents that *don't* have an extra button are the most boring. Oracle's entire tree is great and every new beta build there's something new and better about it. Casting a Premonition of Insight and then pounding out 4 back-to-back-to-back-to-back Radiance casts is fun and huge burst healing and Atonement coverage. If you take the talent to made Radiance instant/cost less mana after Premonition it's even stronger.

@@shestewa6581 Yes, Premonition of Insight was the one I was referring to that gives you cooldown reduction on the next 3 spells you cast. If you take the Fatebender talent(Oracle tree) it increases the CDR from 7 seconds to 9.8. If you're using the Bright Pupil talent(Disc tree), you've already got a shorter cooldown on Radiance.

My main thought for this talent is that you could have a unique priest healer in that they could literally dispel almost 4 times in the time it takes for other healers to barely be able to get back to their second dispel. It’s difficult to manage time wise but I imagine it could have its uses and niches.

The new hero talents for healers are cool , reminds me of the legion artefact weapons without the grind for power , disc priest voidweaver been my favorite on beta at the moment. As long as dps /tank continue to bully the healers for not out-healing the incoming damage witch is the the same damage they refuse to interrupt or mitigate with personal cooldowns no amount of new stuff or tuning from blizzard's part will make me go past the mid-casual section of the end game as a healer with the pugs. At this point the problem is in the community's mentality where you're only safe as a healer if you only play with friends or guildmates.

They need to return to the design of triage healing. Ex: Priest heal vs flash heal. Heal should do like 10% of players HP and cost 5% of mana, and flash heal should do like 25% of their HP and cost 20% of your mana. This would give max flexibility and agency over the healing role.

well blizzard ruined paladins requiring mana on top of holy power. It makes zero sense to require both lore wise, gameplay wise, balance wise. It is an objectively bad design choice that shouldn't require a new expansion to fix. These changes should have been the very next week without any question.

Totally agree. Instead of walking around main thing that is gonna change, its looks like streamers are paid by blizzard to not focus community view on this main major change. Even on video you can see that healer literally can go afk and this doesn't change much. When he spamming abilities - party health bars stay unchanged. After big aoe it took like 30 seconds until all party slowly healed from low hp to full. In my experience with pugs as a healer - they need heal from low hp much more often. And with such a weak healing they just will die constantly. It doesn't matter how funny animation they will add to hero talent tree. This their decision to make healers so weak is stupid. And people will not play healers, until this will be changed back to how it is in DF. I just want to wish DPS guys good luck searching for a healer in next expansion :D

healing is much slower, and that’s not the problem. the game is healthier that way but the real issue is the amount of damage coming in. and that’s a whole mother issue. also you can still rapidly heal people in TWW, healing is nerfed but not as much as you make it out to be

@@user-V5YYil5pRv Healing profiles and defensive creep is in the major attention spotlight right now and most streamers talk about it. The general take though is to stop healers from being able to top people in an instant / multiple times over a short period of times and reduce defensive bloat s.th. an encounter doesn't need to oneshot you over and over in order to be challenging. It will time to tune it properly but that is what the beta is for.

@@asjdfls when you are saying that direction is not wrong, but something needs to be changed yet - try to answer a question, what needs to be changed to make this work? Decrease damage -> Decrease HP amount -> Decease leech -> decrease 30% hp self healing. And what gameplay we will have in the end of such re-balance? Very slowly decreasing HP bars and a healers that have a tens of abilities but can't use them because will OOM after a minute? That's you calling "healthier"? I not either telling about most of M+ DPS mechanics that needs to be reworked too. Now, at least before you go to higher keys, a single DPS mistake like cleave, 1-2 second staying in avoid zone, etc. can be mitigated with help of a healer. In the end such re-work maybe will make gameplay of 0.1% of M+ players not so boring (when with a good party not much heal is actually needed). But what about the rest of more casual players? How to play with pugs in 2-10 keys? I don't have constant party, my friends are not playing wow. I not a streamer, so its a very low chance to be boosted. My every day gameplay as a healer in low level pug m+ keys is to not let other's mistakes to deplete a key. With this new healing rework I guess I no longer can play and enjoy this game (despite the fact that I have already paid TWW). Before do such things - first blizzard need to make a survey what people want. And I bet, the most healer's don't like this. So what is the reason of such a decision? A few streamers who are bored? I propose to make a kind of champ mode, whatever for them. Where you can get killed for a single mistake. Let them play the game they want. But please, let us (casual players) enjoy this game too. Blizzard doing opposite things. They adding follower dungeons for what reason? Right, because its already not so easy for player who not watch youtube guides stay in late game content. But now, just because a some of streamers are bored - they decided to make healing harder? (Applause). I'm sure they WILL change this, but first they need to see that people stop play a healers, or a game at all, before they agree that this is a big mistake.
